Exeter, Paris Street. South Western was an operation set up by the Cawlett Group, owners of North Devon Red Bus and Southern National; their depot was in the coach park of Paris Street bus station, where the originally red buses slowly faded to pink in the sun. This East Lancs bodied Atlantean began life with Blackpool.

Cardiff's first Leyland Olympian. This is 501 (LBO 501X) with East Lancs bodywork. It is on stand for route 75 to Llanishen in the Central Bus Station.
Yesterday Arriva and Stagecoach both ran special services to Aintree from Lime Street, Liverpool. I went along to see if there was anything of particular interest to see - and found I was not alone in these endeavours.
S283 JUA, currently Arriva North West 4143 but originally Arriva London North DLA83, attracts attention while awaiting its turn on the shuttle.
An older Red Bus MAN is seen heading South at Rolleston. MAN buses and coaches are common in the New Zealand roadscene. Many of them have been assembled in Australia and then shipped for bodying in New Zealand. Designline of Ashburton are a major plaey specialising in service bus bodies although they do produce coaches as well.

Newly restored Greater Manchester Transport 4002, ANE2T, a Leyland Titan TN15, seen at the Manchester Museum of Transport, Boyle Street, at the SELNEC 40 event. Shiny!

This East Lancs bodied Atlentean was new to Eastbourne, and also ran for Provincial of Gosport for a while. Seen in front of an ex-North Western RCC Bristol RE in Manchester Piccadilly (Parker Street) bus station.
Mercedes-Benz 709D/Plaxton, new to Nova-Scotia, seen in Stockport. Later had a much more scenic life on Holy Island in Northumberland.
The UTIC Europa style coach utilising Leyland/DAB components had more than a passing resemblance to the Jonckheere Jubilee bodywork from Belgium. Seen here in the coach parking area at Coimbra. 1990.
