Very remote location in southeastern Bulgaria, late autumn colors, I'm surprised the rental car made it all the way to the end and back of that half lane "road", luckily I did not run into any other cars travelling in the opposite direction.
Sorry I was away from flickr during the entire trip, but it was a record breaking warm and sunny November in southern Europe, I was super busy with no down time for rain or dull weather, I know I'm going to have to pay for this good fortune somehow, it has already started, it's freezing cold in California now and the heater in my house stopped working, and I almost slipped and fell in the bathtub this morning, and flickr welcomes me back with bad pandas, it took birthing pandas to upload this bitch, I hope it's a temporary glitch.

Throwback Thursday, blue hour in the old town of Plovdiv, Bulgaria. A very underrated city that almost nobody has ever heard of.
The Church of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel in Nesebar is a ruined medieval Orthodox church, built in XIII. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. The church was designed in late Byzantine style.
ENGLISH:
Firewood transport with two draft oxen of the Iskar breed / Bulgarian gray cattle. The Iskar are small animals. About a fifth of the cattle in Bulgaria are from the Iskar breed.
The oxen are made of white metal. The kit of the wagon and the peasant woman are made of plastic and from Preiser.

Transporte de leña con dos bueyes de tiro de la raza Iskar / ganado búlgaro gris. Los Iskar son pequeños animales. Alrededor de una quinta parte del ganado en Bulgaria es de la raza Iskar.

Die Ochsen sind aus Weissmetall. Der Bausatz des Wagen und die Bäuerin sind aus Plastik und von Preiser.
