Das Flatiron Gebäude gehört zu meinen liebsten Häusern. Die einzigartige Fassade und Bauweise sind schon etwas ganz Besonderes für mich. Wenn ich auch nicht erklären kann warum.
The Flatiron Building is one of my favorite houses. The unique façade and design are something very special for me. Though I can not explain why.

The 1900 apartment building is located at 317 Bleecker in Manhattan.The monogrammed "G" on the fire escape were added around the 1940's and perhaps represent the cross street the building is near,Groves St.If you view larger you'll see some faces near the center.I personally like the fire escape reflection in the window.

The Romanesque Revival Style commercial structure was completed in 1892. The Roman arched windows, horizontal belt courses and the rounded turrets identify it as Romanesque Revival. It honors Judge William Brown, a pioneer of Rockford.
