I simply draw by instinct... the main idea gradually takes shape, a kind of universal substance that helps me bring the numerous contradictory components into harmony. Alvar Aalto's description of his creative process suggests parallels with Surrealist strategies to embrace chance and the instinctive or irrational. His use of organic forms was influenced by the work of his fellow sculptor, Hans Arp.

Held on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th July 2004, this was the first Salvo Fair to be held at Knebworth House in Hertfordshire. It was a two day event with 31 exhibitors and 1,800 visitors.
