K138 BSC finds it's long-lost companion, K132 BSC, after all these years. Red was the theme of the day in terms of car spots, and in terms of music - "Red letter day" by the Pet Shop Boys pretty much sums up today, to me. Sadly K132 has been sold to a local enthusiast who I have yet to meet, but I remain optimistic that I may be able to re-unite this pair permanently some day. The red Applause is effectively a one-owner family from new car, the chap I spoke with today explained that it was the first new car his dad owned, and he kept it for a very long time. Unfortunately his van had a flat battery due to lockdown, otherwise I could have got the two cars closer together.
