Monday's sunrise was something to behold. Autumn colours reflecting in the city architecture, illuminating the iconic (and divisive Selfridges building).

After the last few weeks of dreary, but unusually warm at times, weather, I wanted to capture a nice sunrise in Birmingham. I could see the weather forecast looked quite decent with no rain for this morning, so I thought I would give it a go.

Walking through town I noticed the sky looked fantastic, so I was very pleased to be able to get some photographs in this location. It's been done many time - and mostly better - but I am always pleased to capture some of the colour of the city.
