The smallest of three brothers and the last surviving brother, whilst he is full of battle scars, he has oodles of presence! Early morning is interesting as he and Kasanga have quite the roaring conversation!!

Free flowing water
The air is so warm
It breathes for you
It sees through you before the storm
And if the lake can't
Be the sister
To the moon
To the river
To the sun
The leaves are falling
Cutting the moonlight
They break the waves
Gazing to the stars
And if the lake can't
Be the sister
To the moon
To the river
To the earth
I know I wouldn't be strong
Wouldn't be brother to the moon
I know I wouldn't be strong
Wouldn't be sister to the woods
There is another soul
Another path
There is another God
I know I wouldn't be strong
Wouldn't be brother to the moon
I know I wouldn't be strong
Wouldn't be sister to the woods
[Song: "Brother Moon" by Amorphis, off the 2006 album "Eclipse." The album is inspired by the story of Kullervo, from the Finnish epic " The Kalevala"]
A sincere thanks for all your comments and support through what wasn't the easiest of years for many of us. Hope you all have some great days and adventures this year and I look forward to seeing your images.

I'm not very handy with close - ups. I finally made one. I'm delivering a photo of a special person to me. The best what I experienced in SL for years. Love you brother.
Yesterday I'm gone in the field and I found in a pond a lot of tadpoles and I thought to take some to breed them and when they become a toads, I will lead them home to leave free!
Obviously, I've taken the opportunity to try some underwater shots with my MP-E... This is my first attempt to this technique.
Handheld stack (16shots) taken with 6D, MP-E, at about 2,5X, flash MK320 over the aquarium.
I think it possible to do it better but for now I hope you like it and I thank you for your visits, faves and comments that are always very appreciated!
I'm here to offer brotherly affection. Wouldn't you agree that we all need that sweet sort of protection? It is as refreshing as the morning dew. Subtle and cleansing like a light rainfall too. And, yes indeed my friend, I am talking to you. But somehow, I think that you already knew that too! Have a very pleasant day everyone. :)
Two of the resident polar bears in the Assiniboine Park Zoo Arctic scene can often be found wrestling around. They have many places to hide and curl up in, to climb and swim in. Sometimes they venture out to be scene; other times you have to really watch to see where they've blended in with their environment.
Another picture from the city botanical garden. Every time you visit this place you find some new plant blooming. Subjects for the photography are just waiting for us:-)
Thank you for all the comments and favs, my friends.
Black, white and brown: they don't have a problem seeing eye to eye.
In fact the goats in Dinorwic slate quarry seem to live a very peaceful and sociable way of life. Nothing seems to faze them. Their home seems to be just perfect for them
Brothers Mason and Matty during one of their fun free-for-alls. Gone away from this world, but never our hearts.
A pair of Sheds are snapped side-by-side as DB Cargo loco 66127 pulls away from the Westbury stop with the 10.37am Whatley Quarry - Churchyard Sidings (6M20) loaded aggregate.
Meantime, occupying platform 3 (although not for much longer), Hanson owned unit 59104 'Village of Great Elm' waits for a path with the 10.28am Merehead Quarry - Colinbrook (7A17) loaded aggregate.
Both trains then are destined for the London area, although one will be making rather more sedate progress - 6M20 weighs in at 2,200 tonnes and is timed for 60mph running, while 7A17 weighs in at 4,200 tonnes and is on a 45mph running schedule.
Colas unit 70807 can be seen in the background.
