Osa still doesn't know what to make of toys a lot of the time. And she's been too busy killing and eating flies lately to waste precious time playing... By the way, if you look closely you can tell that I've been spending more of my time taking pictures than vaccuuming lately ;-)

My dogs, Pogo (in front) and Osa waiting patiently for my return after I tied their leashes to a tree to get a few shots of a herd of elk closeby. Sometimes it's just easier to do it that way... My dogs have quite different temperaments but they get along really well together. They're both nine years old now and don't act a day over two.
The pack was running around the enclosure when I walked up, this one stopped and stared through the window for a brief moment.

I know entirely too many pit bulls. Even the sweet ones give me a thrill of fear. I start sweet talking and singing to every Pit or Rott I encounter. I act like we've been friends forever. I'm hoping that makes it harder for them to bite me. It has....
so far.
But how in the world do you keep from loving a sweet face like this one???

I love Dex's brindle markings, he's such a handsome dog. Okay, okay - I'm biased. He's starting intently on the birds hopping along the sidewalk hoping I would release him to go and 'play' with them!
