Highland Oaks Park

Posing happily is a group of nine young boys, whose ages range from 4 to 12 years old. While a few of them are brothers, the rest are just neighbors. They all have morning classes at the local village public elementary school.

I took this photo on late afternoon of the third of three succeeding sunny days. During the past three weeks or so, there were lots of rains not only in this locality but also in many other parts of country due to southwest monsoon and tropical depressions.

I met up with David (Highland Fisky) and we managed a few hours at Glen Cannich in the middle of the day in bright sunshine.

There was still some snow about, but mainly higher up and it meant the stags were low down not too far from the road.

I love their brotherhood moments.

A little backstory. This was taken on our summer holidays by the lake. I liked the place from the moment we came. I watched where the sun would set. It was a valley and in the evenings a little mist would form there where the wood was kept. Finally the last day I was walking that road with my sons and the older one said he was tired and he does not want to walk any more. He sat down in the grass. I called my younger one to give him a helping hand :)

They had such a wonderful time at the beach of course Jasper did because he got to swim and play ball and Niko actaully really liked it too as you can see. He was being so silly just running all around, chasing Jasper and eating sand x]

I dont know what I would do without my boys
