In Antelope Canyon, northern Arizona, at high noon. Thus the brilliant light from the "slots" above, which highlights the rock formations below. For those who are new to slot canyons, this narrow deep canyon, located in Navajo territory, has been carved out through sandstone deposits over millions of years by water -- often flash floods. Today, it is probably the most well-known slot canyon in the world...ten years ago, relatively few people knew of it. Going there is a painful experience, not because of any technical difficulties, but because hundreds of people sign on to (expensive) tours through it most days. It deserves to be seen in solitude, but that is no longer possible. The footprints in the sand tell today's story of Antelope Canyon. Nevertheless, a sublime natural wonder.

You have to have some fun. When you work and can't social distance, then come home and have to "self isolate" from your family, and then also social distance if you go out, YOU learn to find fun and humour in the little things in life.

(ps they got into my food.. the little bounders)

This song is because I loved it back in the day... (yes I aged myself lol)

💌: Adventures with Brat in SL

Some parts of Canada are already getting dustings of snow. Mostly in the western higher elevations. It won't be long before we get some. One third of the month of September has past. The nights are getting cooler here with temps in the 50's and that is being reflected by the change in color in the trees. Starting to see change in the upper portions.

After weeks of photographically uninspiring sunny blue sky days, South Wales finally serves up some proper British weather. That's more like it. The small bounder really is that colour. It's a red sandstone indigenous to the Pembrokeshire coast. This one was perfectly placed to catch the receding tide as the water swirled around the rocky foreshore. I made a number of exposures at different shutter speeds trying to catch the best patterns in the water.

Black Squirrel in fresh snow

So many Breaking Bad comments have been wasted on other posts of aging Class A and even Class C motorhomes, but it's fitting for this particular model in beige.

BOUNDING FLIGHT , and the distinctive habit of pumping its tail up and down. Found at Reculvers, near Herne Bay, Kent, which is a coastal habitat, looking a bit down on the bird, on the sea defense bounders, being hit by the GOLDEN HOUR sun, just felt this would made a good image, leave you to judge for yourselves.?

THANK YOU for your time and kind comments, it is very appreciated. Have a good weekend, behave your selves, Stay safe, God bless..................................Tomx.

Not a figure to be messed with although I think he has left himself open for injury by fighting in the all-together. Taken in the gardens at Chatsworth House, Derbyshire

“Two Shorelines” — Shoreline trees, meadows, and rocks reflected in the water of a small subalpine Sierra lake.

Many of my photographs from this July backpack trip in the Eastern Sierra featured views of the large landscape — long and high mountain ridges, lakes backed by tall mountains, and so forth. This one focuses on closer subjects including the shoreline that I was standing on and the meadow and sparse forest on the other side of this small bay.

I made the photograph in the morning, at just about the end of this morning’s photography. The soft and warm light of early morning was fading away and the light was beginning to be more harsh. I was first interested in the little rocky outcropping just to the left of center, and I thought it would be interesting to juxtapose that with the further forest across the water.

You can not find these falls anywhere in the guides, I don't remember the name as it was only told by a local shop owner.

Bounder is a senior Lab mix. He has lots of energy, and needs a very secure yard to run and play in. He's up to date on shots, neutered, and great on a leash. He's located at the Regional Animal Services of King County in Kent, Washington (USA).

A rare sight in England these days, but at this time of year on Brownsea Island these little beauties still scurry around in the dappled light on the woodland floor, collecting and caching nuts for leaner times.

Red Squirrel,

The Crew of the Mahogany. A luxury space yacht that travels the galaxy.

These ,social misfits do their best to eke out a living and survive in a dark future among the stars.

Florian De Beau - escort fighter pilot, social climber, gambler and general all round bounder.

Pandemonium Smith - A mighty 300 pound Azlan. He is fiercely loyal, strong and has always embraced his aptitude for violence, can be easily distracted by large balls of string.

Rick Grainger - ex imperial agent, A trained forensic investigator, his voyueristic hobby/addiction is drone survellience and reconnaissance. OPERATIONAL STATUS - DECEASED, died on the operating table after saving the crew from a grenade in the enclosed cockpit space of their G-Carrier.

Halvaar an uplifted Dog Soldier - Bred for combat and hunting.. Halvaar is an ex Detective, discharged from service after sustaining brutal injuries whilst working undercover. He now plies his trade as security officer on the Mahogany.

Counsellor Genivieve Saint-Clair - owner of the Mahogany and the worlds most reluctant sniper. More at home with a cocktail in her hand than a high powered Incom 6000 snipe rifle, but when duty calls.

Colonel Darius Stockholm - dishonourably discharged for gun running. Ask him about his famous grenade in a bowl demolitions trick. Almost as much fun as blowing your nose with a TDX handkerchief. - OPERATIONAL STATUS - DECEASED - Gunned down by assassins after driving a dune buggy into the side of a tower block.

I enjoyed hanging with this huge, elegant bounder.

Quite a substantial crop of two Short-eared Owls having a territorial dust up !!

Why don't these things happen closer :o(

Like its main predator (Canada Lynx), the Snowshoe Hare is a great jumper and has huge rear feet to cope with deep snow.

I guess someone moved this old RV into this ruin before that tree blocked the entrance. I can't see another way to get it in there. I drove from Tucson to Petrified Forest National Park and pulled off the main road to explore some of the small towns along the way. I found this in the copper mining town of Winkelman, Arizona.

Such magical wizards these, here having a bout or two. I was watching half a dozen yesterday in the gloom feeding nearby, but impossible for any shots. These bounders were taken earlier in the year, Norfolk.
