Botox Cosmetic Specialist, Yonge Eglinton Laser + Cosmetic Centre
Dr. Stephen Kraft joined the Yonge Eglinton Laser Eye + Cosmetic Centre to provide cosmetic Botox TM treatments to clients who wish to "smooth away the years". He chose the Centre because of the center’s reputation of exemplary patient care and its commitment to excellence. Dr. Kraft was the first physician in Ontario to use Botox, and the Third in Canada.
Dr. Kraft graduated in Medicine from the University of Toronto in 1978, and he completed his ophthalmology residency in Toronto in 1982. From 1982 to 1984 he traveled to Iowa City and San Francisco to pursue fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus. While he was in San Francisco, at the Smith-Kettlewell institute of Visual Sciences, he studied with Dr. Alan Scott who is the originator of the Botox treatment methods.
Dr. Kraft returned to Toronto in 1984 to open his practice in ophthalmology. He is a staff surgeon at the Toronto Western Hospital, part of the University Health Network, and The Hospital for Sick Children. He is currently a Professor at the University of Toronto where he teaches medical students, interns, resident physicians, and fellows. He has also received many clinical teaching awards from residents and medical students and a long-term achievement awards for continuing education from major Ophthalmology organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
He started his Botox practice in January, 1985. At first treating patients affected by facial dystonia and blepharospasm, which are disabling neurologic diseases that cause uncontrolled blinking and eyelid closure, and patients with strabismus (misaligned eyes). Over the past few years he has broadened his Botox practice to include the cosmetic treatment of patients with prominent facial wrinkles, brow furrows, forehead lines, crows' feet, and prominent neck cords. He has also used Botox to treat patients with excessive underarm perspiration.
Dr. Kraft has authored or co-authored over a dozen articles on the use of Botox. He has lectured on his extensive experience with Botox to eye specialists, neurologists, family doctors, and allied health personnel in Canada and in several countries around the world.
In his spare time Dr. Kraft enjoys playing squash, as well as bicycling, swimming, and hiking. He enjoys his family time with his wife, Frances and their two children. He enjoys playing ragtime piano and reading, especially mystery novels and books on archaeology, ancient history, and astronomy.

leider zerbrach mir der krug als ich an das schier unerschöpfliche reservoir, des mir lebenseigend zustehenden milchrechts heranreichen wollte. es ist seltsam, ein leben ohne zu leiden. es gibt zwei dinge ohne die das leben scheinbar unvollkommen scheint: die angst und das leiden. ist das jetzt wieder der katholizismus des mittelalters. endlich auch bei mir angekommen, endlich auf dem weg zur mensch-werdung. was sind wir ohne angst und leiden. eventuell ein bisschen freier, aber können wir diese freiheit aushalten? ich kann damit leben mit offenem verdeck die straßen runterzubrettern und offensichtlich keine verpflichtungen zu haben. ich kann auch damit leben, keine diskussionen führen zu müssen, wenn ich nach hause komme und darüber wann ich nach hause komme. ich kann besonders gut damit leben, keine launen erleiden zu haben, außer meine eigenen. ich kann noch viel mehr und am allermeisten damit leben, dass ich mir gedanken darüber machen kann, ob ich meine zeit nun sinnvoll einsetze, was das auch immer heissen möge, oder sie vor dem fernseher verschwende. ich schwelge. das ist luxus. aber ich kann nun ganz, ganz sicher nicht damit leben keine angst zu haben oder nicht zu leiden. wenn dies passiert und manchmal scheint es mir so, als wäre ich auf diesem weg und dann bitte ich wieder um entschuldigung. denn irgendwovor muss man doch schließlich angst haben. der freie geist führt über mehrspurige autobahnen, an denen plötzlich keine schilder mehr auftauchen und sollte es nacht sein, dann gibt es ganz, ganz plötzlich, wenn man einfach so gedankenverloren oder entleert eine viertelstunde den nasskalten asphalt entlang gefahren ist, dann sind auch plötzlich keine sichtbaren lichter mehr am wegesrand. nur die scheinwerfer deines cabriolets. vielleicht muss es daher die angst geben, vielleicht musst du daher in herzensangelegenheiten leiden, vielleicht musst du dein eigenes blut schmecken, auch wenn es dich würgen lässt, aber du bist in diesem moment nicht alleine. und ab und an selbstvergessen und enthemmt zu sein könnte auch eine bereicherung darstellen. es sei denn, man entschließt sich dazu wie ein bettler leben zu wollen im gleichzeitigen luxus. eine villa am genfer see zu besitzen oder in locarno und diese völlig verkommen zu lassen, die möbel zerschlagen und die große, circa 250 quadratmeter große jugendstil villa, die schon überall vom weiß zu beige oder sogar braun-grau wechselt, uneingerichtet zu lassen. mit nichts als ein paar wenigen büchern, deren umschläge abgerissen sind, mehreren auseinandergefalteten kartons auf denen deine matratze liegt. und ein 20 jahre altes, silbernes fernsehgerät von grundig darin. wenn das dein stil ist - bitte schön und ich sage jetzt nur "du" weil ich "ich" meine.
