My favoured past time is throwing boomerangs at the universe, and wait for the boomerangs to return...b.mikic
"The game of life is a game of boomerangs. Our thoughts, deeds and words return to us sooner or later with astounding accuracy."
Florence Scovel Shinn
Except that sometimes the thoughts, deeds and words can be wrongly interpreted and even completely disregarded.....b.mikic

The Boomerang is a new residential skyscraper, officially called One Blackfriars, on the south side of Blackfriars Bridge. In addition, there are so many well-known buildings and bridges in this picture of the Thames in London, looking upriver.
Osprey about to touch down on the perch he just departed after making a big loop around a bend in Armand Bayou.

I've been gone for a while now
But only to gain my power
I've been fighting my demons
And now I'm back up on my feet
The harder you fall down
The stronger you come back later
Now I feel like an army
And I've only just began
Hey, give me all you got
Bring the grenades and your loaded guns
Hey, trying to take me down
I'm coming right back, back, back like a boomerang
The grass was not greener nor the fishing better on the other side of the bayou. A Great Egret completes its elliptical sunrise flight, returning to the snag from which it had just departed on Armand Bayou.
This male Osprey is a bit warier than most and most are warier than most of the other birds on the bayou. I was a fair distance away from him on his favored perch that overhangs the water en route to my takeout point when he lightened his load and launched into the wind toward my position. But instead of continuing on to his backup favored perch, he made a slow loop and prepared to land right back where he started, even though by this point I was almost directly underneath.

Boomerang bridge at the Zaryadye Park. The river overlook with it’s 70-meters long concrete cantilever opens up panoramic views of Kremlin, the river embankment and the park itself. The bridge is unique in Russia with a structure with-out a single support.

The CAC Boomerang was the first combat aircraft designed and built in Australia. In 1942, after Japan entered the second World War, an urgent need for fighter planes resulted in the rapid design and build of around 250 CAC Boomerangs. Although they rarely engaged in air-to-air combat, their presence helped see off a number of enemy bombing attacks.
This aircraft, A46-139, is based in Belgium and was assembled from several surviving airframes. The first time I have ever seen one, this Boomerang gave us an impressive and sprightly aerobatic display at the Shuttleworth Summer Air show at Old Warden.

Normally operating the Rosslare-Pembroke route between Ireland & the UK, it was once again transferred up to Dublin for a few days in April 2022 to cover for overhauls & additional capacity required at Belfast.
Seen here on the morning sailing from Holyhead, albeit slightly delayed, working with the Adventurer on the route at the time.

My son pointed out that the bench reminded him of a boomerang...hence, the title! Since I only shot part of it, you might not get the same impression ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Happy Bench Monday!
