Another quick cross country slop-chop by Tyler Linner and me.
I noticed the c-pillar door cut on the first Dubonette Xenia was a close match to that of the 67 Thunderbird sedan's. My friend and One-of-The-Big -Three-designer and Modeler , Tyler Linner suggested we try to apply Xenia #1's proportions to the Bird.
A flurry of e-mails and evolving jpegs ensued.
The most striking feature is Tyler's nifty bobbed tail and wind-line.
Lengthening the front --plus a wee bit of channeling and chopping produced this odd but compelling Thunder- duck.

I wasn't able to sit on a real bench today; I'm been at home for five days nursing a "dorsal heel spur", which I recommend that you avoid if possible.
Today the Hereios of the We're Here! group are celebrating Bench Life, because it would have been George's father's birthday today.
For some time, I have been grappling with the reality of a body that is far from perfect. I'm not talking about issues of weight, anorexia, wanting to be a model - I'm dealing with a body that once would carry me running over mountains 20 miles at a time, ski down hills for days on end, that was able to support me through every day, every adventure, every passionate embrace, and a gratifying career.
Through the intricacies of some weak genes, my once dependable (but mortal) coil turned on me. Along for the ride, my brain chemistry has skewed. It is a cruel thing, and I just loathe the facts. And yet, there are so many people that have far more serious issues to deal with than do I, and I have a whole new appreciation for the strength of will and character that it requires to go through life with disabilities and challenges that the "average" human does not have to endure.
Through my illnesses, I have found heroes- the caretakers of the sick and ailing, those who dedicate their lives to bettering the quality of life for others, and do so for pennies, compared to what someone like Paris Hilton gets paid for being - nothing.
I’m changing. As I become weaker, I find strength I did not know existed previously. As I shed tears, I cast off prior assumptions. Life is an interesting journey, and no matter how well prepared you feel you may be, you just never know what waits tomorrow.

Yann Barthès is the host of a popular info-entertainment TV program in France called Quotidien (“Daily”). First he mocks Drumpf’s “style” mercilessly with a super cut, saying, ”We are in the porn industry in this country, you came to the right place.” Then he bottom-lines it.
The video in is English, spoken with an exaggerated, almost certainly put-on “central casting” type of French accent, with subtitles in French. I love the way Mr. Barthès introduces himself as “My name is Y..., Sean..., Sean... I’m protecting myself.” “Ashley” and “Clarissa” are also assumed names. This is one of the best 1:15 you’ll have all day. (There is a slight interruption at 0:55 but the video quickly resumes.) Enjoy !

This is me, stuck on my bed in a ridiculous situation because of the pain I'm going through right now. I can't just get up out of bed anymore. And the process to get me to my feet is always a painful one. I can't have anyone help me, because that just causes the pain to go in another direction. I have to deal with it on my own.
