I don't often post photos of myself, but I thought I would post the most recent photos of me...or should I say….my left foot; with my new "bling". It's amazing what they can do these days with both surgical repair and X-rays. In the after surgery X-ray, you can see the staples they used to close the incisions.

I am coming into my fifth week of physiotherapy now. Physiotherapy has been the most important part of my recovery to get the mobility back in my foot. Three days a week my physiotherapist has me on a steady workout routine, plus I have exercises that I do at home three times a day. The surgeon was very happy with the way my bones healed with my new hardware. The challenge has been the damage caused by the dislocation.

I'm looking forward to the day when I am done with the crutches. I've been out and about for some drive-by-shootings and spending time photographing the birds in the yard through the windows. I was excited today when my first hummingbird arrived. It will be nice to have them here to keep me occupied.
