For Macro Mondays' theme: "Made of Metal." My focus on screws and bolts began with last week's theme: "screws."
Macro Mondays challenges me to photograph items I normally don't consider subjects. It is great fun!!

Looking Close on Friday - Nuts and Bolts
Happy Looking Close on Friday everyone.
Hope this is OK, as it is only 1 nut and 1 bolt :)
A large area of rain over SW Va. had multiple embedded thunderstorms that lit up the skies. There was lightning in all directions as the storms were talking to each other. Single shot, bolts happened all at once. www.terryaldhizer.com

I am pretty confident in saying, that for many visitors and viewers, that this old and weathered GMC, is much more than just a bucket of nuts and bolts.
I have added high definition detailing to this photo, to age it accordingly, in efforts to achieve a little more bang for the buck. So to speak. Hope you like it.

I am happy to share with you all a small-short term project I am working on.
This sim is called Lightning Bolt and the reason for this is because it was created in a spur of the moment sort of thing. I was always itchy to build something but never got around to doing it until now because I figured this might be the best surprise I could give someone special to me. I decided to share it with the public too once I am finished. It should be done soon! (Like a day or 2 max) I am keeping it around only for a month and a half. :)
P.S. This is a mess! :3
