Stone jungle ........ on the street there are almost no pedestrians. The roads are wide, intersections are so complex that you wait for 5 minutes of green light. But despite the fact that the road is almost empty, 5 pedestrians wait patiently for green light.
When I was a child I used to play Subbuteo with my school friends; it is a table top game simulating team sports such as the one featured here, association football.
Playing Subbuteo is a physical simulation of association football, involving dexterity and skill in flicking the playing figures, which stand on weighted bases, across the tabletop pitch towards the ball. Pictured are two original teams West Ham United and Ipswich Town
...and you can forget about collecting that money.

So I heard on the radio that today in the US happens to be National Play Monopoly Day in recognition of this iconic board game.

Explored! :) Thanks
Searching the shelves in our basement laundry/storage room, I came upon a little box of plastic, multicolored board game pegs. The game board that they belonged to was nowhere in site. Still, I instantly recognized them as pieces from a board game. While my wife and I both had vague recollections of playing a game with these pieces, neither of us could immediately dredge up the name of the game. Fortunately, with the help of a little internet sleuthing, we were finally able to pin it down to MASTERMIND.

The Lewis chessmen have reached an impasse.
The original chess pieces were found on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland, but it's not certain where they were from or how they got to the island. However, a popular theory is that they were made in Trondheim in western Norway around 1150–1200. There are a number of reasons for this. Firstly, Trondheim was a centre for walrus ivory carving in the Middle Ages; secondly, a fragment of a queen piece in a similar style was found in a local church; and finally, the decoration on the Chessmen's thrones resemble carvings in medieval Norwegian churches.
At this time, the Western Isles where the Chessmen were buried were part of the kingdom of Norway, and not Scotland as they are today.

Navigate through the asteroid field to pass each checkpoint in sequence and return to the starting line.
Each round, set maneuvers for your pilot and navigator on your ship's control board in secret. When all ships are ready, reveal and see where everybody else decided to go - hopefully not right into you!
No need for X-box with the original inexpensive Y-box. Hours of jollies with no electricity use. Must conserve there so EV's can be charged. May unplug the fridge too. Board games before war games.
