I have never seen any pictures of the BOF in action at Monessen. That all changed today when I found this gem! And there are plenty more where this came from.

Heading back to Braddock for a minute; the basic oxygen furnace building at Edgar Thomson which contains a dual-strand slab caster that was installed in the early 90s.
