Day 53 - February 22, 2010

Half a year back, Twitter friend Rom Feria sent me this tweet in reply to one of my Flickr photos, asking me to photograph the contents of my laptop bag. I liked the idea but I put it aside for a better time.

Well that time is now. Its day seven of my Boy Behind the Lens Series and I think there's a lot you can learn about someone by just looking into the contents of his bag, if only if that were a proper thing to do or if you had permission to do so. Well you have my permission, so tonight I made a mess of my room, rearranged the furniture, and emptied out the contents of my bag for the rest of the world to see.

I've broken down the items using notes, just hover over them to see what they are.

What items do you have on you always, what can't you live without?

PHOTO NOTES:

1. Items are laid out translucent boxes. Aside from serving as storage units, they're also used as makeshift bedside tables. One of these boxes (underneath) is my DIY light box.

2. Lighting c/o two tungsten lights on both sides of the setup (also from my DIY light box).

3. Danbo didn't come from inside my bag. He just wanted to make an appearance.

EXPLORE #81 - (February 22, 2010)

I think it's a peacock.

What's in my handbag? I swear it's just not that big but somewhat TARDIS-like on the inside. And I have no idea how it is all going to fit back in.

not captured: NetBook, Keys for Office, Sunglasses (left in Car), sharpened wooden stake and my fav heavy hammer against Vampyrs ;-)

Probably the only page in the manual you need to memorise.

I love my new phone! You can have 2 timezones displayed at once! I really only use it for texting and music and it's very good at both. I also got a free bluetooth headset with it!

It also has a 5mp camera that I don't use.

I see people with bluetooth earpieces worn like jewelry all over these days.

What the hell is wrong with you?

This isn't star trek.

Your car doesn't fly.

Take the damn thing off your head and put it in your pocket. Replace when your phone rings.

This is what I do, and I don't look like a doorknob all night.

Yes, there is a woman sitting to his left that (i think) he is talking to. I think she thinks this as well. but he may just be talking to someone on his space-age communication contraption.

Seriously. I have one of these and know how to use it. This is not how. Of course, this person probably also doesn't have his phone on vibrate either.

*sigh*

when will everyone learn to use technology correctly?

Now that I think about it, this particular case-in-point is never going to figure it out -- something as low-tech as sunglasses ended up backwards and upside-down on his head.

Maybe he's had more to drink than I'm aware of at 4pm?

High-Quality Voice with PS3 Specific

The Official Bluetooth Headset for the PlayStation 3 was designed and optimized specifically for gaming use. This headset offers the highest-quality voice available, thanks to the High -Quality (HQ) mode, which implements various advanced voice technologies and noise-canceling techniques to provide crystal-clear talk quality. And thanks to the dual-microphone design, you get high-bandwidth voice recording and playback. So next time you're in the middle of a heated online gaming session, you won't have to worry that your allies don't understand.

Additionally, with HQ-mode enabled, games that support or require "Voice Command" and "Voice Animation" features will work perfectly because of the headset's excellent speech recognition capabilities. Games that support this feature include Tom Clancy's EndWar, SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation, and more.

Pairing the Headset to the PS3 is automatically done when you connect with a USB cable. While connected to the PS3, a simple button push will bring up an indicator on screen that tells you the connection status, battery level, speaker volume, and microphone mute status.
