This ’59 Ford Ranch Wagon was once a fuddy-duddy family car but now its a highly customized law breaking hell machine that goes by the name of Blue Ruin. With a supercharged engine, ground scraping stance, spark plugs in the exhaust pipes, cherry bombs in the muffler and a screaming blue on blue on blue 60’s era panels paint job, this custom ride has wracked up three speeding tickets, four parking violations, three counts of disturbing the peace, two counts of illegal street racing and even one count of “riding a little too low for this jurisdiction”...and that was all just this Friday alone! It just can’t catch a break from the fuzz but who can blame those hard working cops, really? This wagon just screams vehicular violation from every angle!

Of the maybe 300+ films I saw this year, these are the best ones. Some of them were released last year and I’ve been a bit slow getting round to them. Some of them were released even longer ago. The criteria are – I watched them in 2014 and I liked them. That’s it.

I wasn't satisfied tonight with anything I've taken recently. Felt like I was falling into the trap of overworking garbage into, well garbage. Then I went back, and reworked this. One of my favs. I like the new treatment.
