The blue hour is the time of the day when I believe we can find the best of ourselves. Is the time we find the most calming light of the day and we can find the beauty around us. This image was taken at Landeyjahöfn beach, in the South of Iceland. The beach is in front of Westman Islands and if the ocean is good is the starting point for the ferries to the islands.

Hallgrímskirkja stands guard over Reykjavík. The church is both a parish church and a national sanctuary in Iceland. One of the positive of being in Iceland in December is that blue hour is at 9.15 am....
Just want to wish to all Flickers photographers, a world that I discover only recently, to find peace for the upcoming holidays.
Borgo Paraiso is an old district of the city of Imperia. Is a wonderful location characterized by steep stairs and narrow alleys. Is a little gem and is worth a visit.
Big Bend National Park. This photo was taken just before sunrise. Usually the Canyon is overcrowded but at that time was a peaceful place.

Night reflections of the big city and harbour lights
False Creek is a short inlet in the heart of Vancouver. It separates downtown from the rest of the city. It was named by George Henry Richards during his Hydrographic survey of 1856-63. George Richards named False Creek during his survey of the coast in the mid-19th century. While traveling along the south side of the Burrard Inlet, he thought he was traversing a creek; upon discovering his error, he gave the waterway its modern name. Wikipedia
The Granville Street Bridge is an eight lane bridge in Vancouver, British Columbia. It spans False Creek and is 27.4 metres above Granville Island.
Thank-you for all the overwhelming support and many friendships. Wishing you all health during this difficult time.
Stay Healthy.

I have shot many photo's of this bridge but this one is unique. They were testing some kind of a projection on the side of the bridge because of new years.
This photo was taken at Black Beach, Vik, Iceland. We were there at the end of the day and able to catch the last light of the day. It was a stormy day and I believe this image capture the atmosphere of that evening.
The idyllic town of Varenna sits just a short boat ride from the larger town of Bellagio. It has everything Bellagio offers except smaller crowd and more laid back. In the evenings when all tour groups have left, Varenna becomes a piece of heaven.
The Manderscheider castles last night during the late "blue hour". Around the castle ruins, the forest is already very autumnal due to the long drought.
After the rain yesterday (the first in about 6 weeks), there was always some fog coming out of the valley at dusk.

Granville Island is a peninsula and shopping district in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is located across False Creek from Downtown Vancouver under the south end of the Granville Street Bridge. The peninsula was once an industrial manufacturing area, but today it is a hotspot for Vancouver tourism and entertainment. The area was named after Granville Leveson-Gower, 2nd Earl Granville.
The island is home to 275 businesses and facilities that employ more than 2,500 people and generates more than $215-million in economic activity each year.
Granville Island provides amenities such as a large public market, an extensive marina, a hotel, Arts Umbrella, False Creek Community Centre, various performing arts theatres including Vancouver's only professional improvisational theatre company Vancouver Theatresports League, the Arts Club Theatre Company and Carousel Theatre, fine arts galleries, and variety of shopping areas. I appreciate all the individual perspectives on how photographers
view and shoot their images, and how, over time we all seem to adapt styles and make them our own.
It's very interesting to see what makes the different artists 'click'.

Same, same but different!
