One thing I learned from my first month of film school is that having a Blu-Ray collection is a big deal. I for one have never really gotten into Blu-Rays, because I'd just buy my favorite movies on iTunes, but now I'm hooked on Blu-Rays! So here are all the Blu rays I own as of September 29th, 2017! One thing I must add is that the Blade Runner Blu Ray isn't actually mine, it's my roommates. I included it because I do have a Blade Runner Blu-Ray, but I left it at my house in Salt Lake City. I do also have the rest of the Star Wars movies and the original Indiana Jones movies, but they're DVDs, so I didn't include them in the picture.
Also I'd like to share with you guys that I'm expanding my film reviews to Letterboxd! If you don't know about this site, Letterboxd is a website that every film fan should have an account on. You can keep track of every film you've watched and when you watched them, you can review films, and you can make lists! I've been obsessed with this website for the past few days so I encourage you guys to check out this site and follow me on it!

It's been a while since I've posted by (mostly) entire blu-ray collection! The reason why I've totally loaded up on blu-rays in the past couple of months is I've been participating in these economics experiments at my school, and if you play your cards correctly, you can make some BANK. So I've been using that cash for some quality blu-rays and a few DVDs.
These aren't all my blu-rays and DVDs, these are just the ones I keep in my dorm. I have some like Pulp Fiction, Planet of the Apes, and Get Out at home; and some at my cabin in Southern utah like Deadpool, Howard the Duck, and The Avengers. Blade Runner 2049- Pre-ordered from Best Buy with some cash that I got for Christmas.
E.T.- It was on sale when I was at target one day and I love this movie, so I had no excuse not to pick this up!
The Spongebob Movie: Sponge out of Water- I won this in a contest on Comicbookmovie.com, it also came with a poster signed by the entire cast!

Accdentally had set up Schedulr to upload every *other* weekend, hence Saturday uploads didn't happen as expected. I'm going to keep it setup that way for now, just in case I don't have the photos I want ready for next weekend. For now though, let's wrap up another very long-running photo series. As promised (quite sometine ago!), here are the wrap up photos from the Spin Street Memphis liquidation. Spin Street closed it's doors in Memphis roughly 13 months ago, give or take a week or two. This area of the store was still well-stocked back during my first visit to the place in mid-November 2017.

These past few months I've been committing myself to watching a Godzilla movie every week. So far I only have nine more to go and let me tell ya, it's been a journey. The Godzilla franchise has had it's ups and it's down but even then it's still one of my favorite film franchises ever.
I noticed that blu-rays for some Godzilla films are pretty cheap on Amazon so I've begun so build a collection of just my favorite films in the franchise. No word so far when the Criterion Collection will release blu-rays of Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, Mothra vs. Godzilla, and Ghidrah: The Three Headed Monster since they have the distributing rights to them on blu-ray and DVD, but you bet your ass I'll be emptying my pockets for those when they're released!
