Through the medieval prison "The prisoner's gate" (De Gevangenpoort) an inflatable tunnel (aptly named "Tunnel" (2022)) was created by Steve Messam.

Steve Messam is an environmental artist pioneering with inflatable art. Sometimes dubbed ’bubbletecture’ his objects are monumental in a strange but pleasant manner. The rather outlandish ‘Tunnel' inserted underneath de Gevangenpoort makes a soft comment on the harshness of some historical events that happened within these walls<<<
This is what happens when thousands of migrating birds are resting and feeding on ponds, when an Eagle flys over. You have a blowup or blowout as it's called and it's quite a spectacle to witness.

Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

This photo before the wind came thru and blew the tall one over.
They look like something from Star Wars movies.
We wanted to take Photography to the streets.
Life is on display on the street -- people walk, sit, stand, sleep, drive, drink, eat, piss, talk, mingle, fight, and love. The street is where groups collide and where people live and die and where all of society mixes with trash, smog, sewage, and the pulsating sounds of traffic.
We’ve put together a bunch of our pictures and will be bringing them to you, where you’re standing, on the street -- where they’re easy to see:
From Koshy’s to Brigade Road. From Temptations to Blossom’s. On sidewalks and in alleys. Next to coffee shops and streetside panwallas. On postboxes and on blank walls. In between advertisements and PG accomodations. We’ll be standing there.
On the 5TH of August with double sided tape in hand we arrived on Church Street and plastered away. (thank you Kassia and Shilpa for helping !)

We pasted them on the whitewashed wall out side Coconut Grove (thank you Arvindam), on the transformer behind Barton Center, next to the Pani Puri wallah ahead of queens and next to the name on Rice Guy.

This giant blowup frog sits at the entrance to the "Corroboree Frog" exhibition at the Melbourne Zoo. This brilliantly coloured black and yellow frog is highly endangered, and the zoo is at the heart of conservation efforts.
The Blindboys are back – after successfully hosting their street-style events in Bangalore, Paris, Delhi and Mumbai, the group will hold BLOWUP Angkor: A Photographic Intervention on the Streets of Siem Reap.
Bringing photography to the streets and the people, BLOWUP Angkor is an open and free street exhibition plastered along the public walls of the city. Printed cheap, the prints are free for the taking and will feature the work of photographers from around the world. Amongst the work featured will be photographs taken by the children of Anjali House, who will work alongside the Blindboys to put up the pictures.

Like a monstrous Balrog (Lord of the Rings reference) looming and threatening everything in it's path.
At this moment, neighborhoods a short distance south of us were being evacuated, as we were scrambling around making our own preparations, in case we got the word to do so also.
Thankfully the camera needed no assistance taking this series of several hundred photos, at six seconds intervals.

After it's Success in Bangalore, Paris, & Delhi we turns our eyes to Bombay.
Blow-up uses the internet and social media we help you take your pictures, design an improvised exhibition where everyone is invited to come and display their work on the streets together with other photographers. Over the last 6 months blindboys has organised 3 blowups in Bangalore, Paris and Delhi - displaying works from over 25 photographers and 2500 pictures. Come be a part of the movement.
