Visited the Ghibli museum in Mitaka. Very neat place for fans of Miyazaki's movies (anime). Unfortunately they don't allow photographs of the interior. They had a lot of interesting gadgets and old time animation gizmos (think stop motion and stobe-lights).
I think this big guy is from "Laputa".
p.s. And I saw something on tv the other day about how the story for "Stardust" was influenced by Miyazaki's works. I'd like to go see this when I get back.
Some entries, no matter how short, you just know are gonna get tagged by a local blog page. I was more frustrated than anything else when I wrote this last night, but this morning I thought I might see it in express or DC Blogs.

何でも沖縄出身で自転車で南アフリカからエジプト、ヨーロッパ、中央アジアと
約１年半かけてここまで来たそうです。
寛平さん「なんか飲みや」と色々あげていました。
若者は礼を言うと颯爽と先の道へ消えていき、
寛平さん「あれがあの子にとっての夢やねんから、こういう事したいから一生懸命頑張って
お金貯めて、そして自分の夢を叶える・・・良い事や」
そして小さくなった自転車を遠い目で見て・・・「自転車はやっ！」
