Vi går videre og ned til en strand nedenfor en park før solen går ned. Man kan se Alcatraz i det fjerne.
Jeg flyr utover Meringsdalsvatnet og tar et bilde innover fra vannet hvor man både ser båten, hytta og uthuset. Og så er det snart klart for avreise etter en fin tur til Heidal.
Etter nok en bra dag i Hafjell er påsken omsider over. Lammestek og så bar det tilbake til Oslo sammen med Hagge og Peggy.

Contest Entry: 59: Popsicle Stick Balancing Act

Challenge: Create a balanced structure where a maximum of two magnets can make contact with the wooden popsicle stick.
I approached this challenge with a closed shape in mind to create a counter-balance at the bottom. A Heart shape materialized as the perfect shape for this idea. Originally I was thinking of a seasaw, where the center of gravity would extend outward and then downward.
The end result is a two layer heart frame where the inside tip had to support all the weight onto the required two magnets, sitting on a popsicle stick.
The tricky part consisted of two challenges: create a structure that was sturdy enough to support the shape without deforming and design a two magnet center of gravity base that would not only balance the structure, but also strong enough to support the weight of the entire design without slipping out of the triangular shape.
Since it was balancing on a popsicle ledge in mid-air on two magnets, I was cautious not to knock it over when demonstrating it was indeed balancing.
