... Reflection On Black.

This nearly finished me off!

My little hand mirror is round and not that big, but big enough for Grumpy Smurf to stand on.

It took me ages to get a decent photo of the reflection, but I knew that might happen. I keep telling myself I need to try more of this sort of thing!

Then it was painting out the background. My little mirror is round, so I started off making the whole photo a round within a square. (You can see at the top of the photo where the round edges are of the mirror).

Stopped that pretty soon as it was causing all sorts of problems and I wasn't sure I liked the result anyway. So back to the drawing board I went.

Cropped it to a square and started painting out the background. PhotoScape is a good free editing software, but it is limited to what it can do. So it was me painting, or no Smile for Saturday.

Multiple saves, so I didn't loose my place and loads of reorientation of the photo to get it right. But I did it.

Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites.

A really nice car! I particularily like the tinted windows (that must be at least 80 to 90% full-tinted)! I'm kind of proud of this shoot too.

I think sinister is the best word for this beast.

I'll put more shots up later.

Oh, the Irony!

Spending 6 days, and 7 Nights camping in Rodanthe, N.C. can be pretty brutal when you have no shelter from the sun. Our tent would trap heat and was almost always hot, so laying below the waterfront campsite's picnic table was our only hint of shade that we could really get.

I came back from a walk to find Tyler well hydrated, and passed out under the table. I took advantage of the situation and took a few shots with a Nikon SB-600 Speedlight behind him from the other side of the picnic table.

Pretty insane to imagine that this machine has 2 more horsepower than a Lamborghini Huracan.

The most stealthy car I've seen in a while I think!!! Superb example of a black Countach, spotted rolling down Flinders St, Melbourne.

What do you think of this shot and editing? The car was pretty awesome :D

If all goes to plan, you should be seeing some more Countach's on my stream soon ;)

After her 7,614th "Are we there yet?" I think I blacked out.

Tuesday Truth: I know I will never be good enough, for lots of things, people, situations and myself.

I love being impaled... still going...and going... and getting a red butt! Tooo much fun...

On the corner of my apartment complex is a strange little brick building. The front part of the building is a Masonic Lodge, while the side (shown here) is the clubhouse for the Iron Fist Order Biker Club! Its windows are blacked out, I guess to keep their goings-on private. So when I passed it today while thinking about this week's Flickr Friday, I thought it was perfect for #PaintItBlack! So I captured the blacked-out windows the best I could.

This image was captured in RAW with an external ND4 filter and processed in Linux using RawTherapee and a pixel shift No Motion preset.

Dray Lane. East End, London. UK. 2009.

I saw her seated inside having a conversation as I walked passed the store. Her intriguing look caused me to do a u-turn, enter, and ask if I could take a photo of her, knowing fully well that there wasn't enough light to carry it, as the sun had half-way set at this point (hence the underexposure).

She's wearing a red hat that particularly caught my attention.

A Bugatti Veyron Super Sport rolling towards you, with an SLS FAB Design both in the fore- and in the background, but still all the attention goes to the 1200 horsepower beast. Obviously.

Can you believe this is the same Bentayga as 4 photo's back in my timeline? We've wrapped it in satin black and added some Mansory goodies such as 23 inch rims and some carbon parts!

Black on Black Ferrari Enzo. Incredible.

We've applied some red and grey striping and we've installed a Supersprint catless downpipe! This C63S AMG is now officially a monster! :P @JD_Customs

Looks like an LP640, says 650-4 on the engine cover and SV on the side. Underneath it's an original Murciélago Roadster. Looks mean!

This Murciélago is for sale at Voss Automobile.

No political statement intended. I like the texture and tones. That's all.

For those who can't do without a message, please listen to An Harangue by The Red Krayola, a song from the album whose name I borrowed for this picture's title.
