R&S 879 leads train BL-1 under INT 390 at Pioneer Road in Groveland, NY on the evening of December 8, 2020. The CN unit is headed to AMP in Dansville, NY. The train is on the old DL&W main and will soon swing over onto the old D&MM trackage at Groveland Station. Trains to Dansville are tough to catch, and I only got this because it met the loaded GW-1 at Retsof. It was getting close to sunset when the trains met in Retsof, but I don't mind playing with low light.
RSR 879 leads BL-1 South at White Bridge Road in Dansville, NY on May 25, 2021. The WC 2001 was being delivered to AMP for some type of work.

Bl. Michael Rua, Priest - Memorial: October 29th
Italian priest and confidante of the great St. John Bosco, with whom he collaborated in the founding of the Salesians. After the death of St. John, he succeeded him as the General Superior of his congregation, and through his capable guidance, expanded its work around the globe. He was noted for his fatherly care of his spiritual family and his fidelity to the practice of the rule. He died in 1910 and was Beatified in 1972. Please pray for his speedy Canonization.

C&BL 104 traverses a section of their trackage very early in the morning to move a single car closer to its destination. On this day they were on duty and moving for no more than an hour and a half making this a very elusive railroad to catch working.

Kenners may be old but they're tough. These babies have survived tomato patches, extended periods of time in cedar closets (whatever that means) and various restorations.
That said they are quite fragile. Robin's legs are held on using knickers and tights as they fly off at inopportune moments. She also can't stand up without help (note my sneaky fingers)
