Time Warner Center Globe & Billionaire's Row Skyscrapers View from Columbus Circle Manhattan New York City NY P00746 DSC_0586

Enjoy a dramatic view of the Midtown Manhattan skyline at sunset as seen and captured from neighboring Brooklyn.

This one was particularly difficult to compose and capture for a number of reasons. Firstly, the image was captured through a thick shield of glass with plenty of glare to spare. Also, given the speed of the setting sun and the confined space in which I was located (none of the doors leading outside were accessible), I had very few options for mobility.

In such situations, as many of you know, you must resolve to use your best judgment and make do with the circumstances at your disposal.

How do you legally disappear and never be found?

"Go to your nearest travel agency, purchase a carnival cruise to the Virgin Isles. (purchased well in advance you can score a ticket for under 400 dollars usd) once the cruise ship lands at the Virgin Isles it will dock for a couple days. You disembark and find yourself a nice hustle. Cruise ships roll in on a weekly basis all year round from all over the world. Become a tour guide, professional gambler, billionaire’s personal assistant, or just live as a beach bum eating crab every evening and sipping on mai tais. It’s as easy as not getting back on the boat.

If you’re going to drop off the grid, you’re going to have to hustle for any income, as legitimate forms of employment leave flashing neon paper trails. And if you’re going to be homeless and at the mercy of deadly winters/summers on the street. might as well be homeless where the climate is a cool 73 degrees year round, with a steady influx of potential marks rolling in, there’s a lot of potential, a lot of spas, a lot of resorts, a lot of casinos. It’s the premiere tourist spot on the globe, the perfect place to disappear and start over."

Many of the residential units in these Super Talls remain unoccupied, as an exercise in “commodification” of real estate. Easier to store and exchange enormous wealth if you pay, say, $100million for an apartment here, and don’t bother to occupy or personalize it. Lots of prestige, and more liquidity than ordinary real estate. Yes, it’s April Fool’s Day, but the joke is on New York’s taxpayers, not you.

The sun just peeks over the horizon and lights the corner of the World Trade Center, and the face of Lady Liberty. Just to the right and behind is the Chrysler building in Art Deco style. To the left of the statue you will see the Empire State Building, and behind that are two skinny super tall skyscrapers in what is known as Billionaire's Row

“84-story, 1,428-foot (435-meter) tower … The thinnest skyscraper in the world with a width-to-height ratio of about 1:24”. [Legally,] an addition to Steinway Hall, a New York City designated landmark. … As of 2018, prices ranged from $16 million for a studio apartment to over $57 million for the duplex penthouse.”

Iconic NYC Subway location at Queensborough Plaza, Long Island City. Where the No.7 train makes a sharp turn into the elevated station. The SilverCup Studios landmark sign is visible and well as Billionaire's Row skyline in the background. This was taken on a Summer Sunday late afternoon during golden hour.

Note: The SilverCup Studios was once a bakery for the SilverCup Bread Co. in the 1970s. I recall the wonderful smell of fresh baked bread! The factory closed, was converted to a movie studio. And featured in the movie, The Highlander.

After months of procrastination, I've finally completed my newest listing, The W Penthouse!

It is a sprawling 2 bedroom, 3 bath penthouse encompassing an entire floor of a luxury skyscraper located on Billionaire's Row. The W offers a luxurious and classy design, unique layout, and an astounding view of the New York skyline framed by floor to ceiling windows.

Stop by now to check it out!

I am alarmed when I read around 40 % of Americans support this Muslim ban...though, I am also skeptical of media but in the opposite way of Donald Trump. I think they are trying to cater to him in some ways, though some outlets more than others.

Regardless, there are still very hateful people in my country that are being encouraged to express their views instead of fight the ignorance that has led to their beliefs and actually have conversations with those who are different from them. It's difficult not to be devastated when you see potential being destroyed so ruthlessly.

I went to another protest last night regarding Betsy DeVos...if she has her way, no doubt that kids with disabilities won't have a quality education and that public schools might completely shut down. People are unaware of the complete danger here in so many ways. We have become a society that gives in to the billionaire's distraction of hating the poor and minorities and refusing to prepare them for the future. It's shameful.

There's a big hill/mountain thing that seperates Monte Carlo into two parts. Both sides have a harbor with billionaire's yachts and are very beautiful. Our uber dropped us off down there at the bottom. I looked up to the top of this hill (where I stood to take this photo), and I was thinking, “Hell, I don't want to walk all the way up there.” So I tried to call an uber, but there were none in the area. And no taxis either. It's a very residential area, so I ended up having to walk all the way up! But that's okay… it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought.

That tall round top building is the Billionaire's club house. You need strong financial credentials to be a member of this exclusive house. Mere superstars, celebrities and multimillionaires need not apply.

In my new role as a Princess and a billionaire’s trophy wife, I must look perfect, even when presenting myself in “casual” mode. In truth, it takes more effort to look “perfect” when dressed casually than when wearing more formal attire! I am in the process of trying to achieve that relaxed but totally chic look that ladies on the Côte d'Azur seem to manage so effortlessly… It’s hard work being the sex object of a very rich, very old and very powerful man!

Lord Belcher called me the other day to let me know that Sir Charles James and Sir James Charles – those “Terrible Twins from the Square Mile” – seem to believe that they now represent the late Monsieur Pierre Collager’s estate (he was pronounced dead by Scotland Yard, although Les Flics in Paris don’t seem to agree!).

Apparently, Sir Charles and Sir James claim that certain negotiable instruments - once in the possession of Collager, and now lodged with them - give them a controlling interest in The Salon. Lord Belcher thinks it’s all nonsense, but suggests that I might take the matter up with my husband, sometime rather soon….

Should I look ‘casual’ or more formally chic, when I speak to my hubby on this rather delicate subject?

57th Street, Central Park

Manhattan, NY

January 11, 2019

Seen here from the lobby of the Time Warner Building, Central Park Tower is the second tallest building in Manhattan at 1,550 feet and the tallest residential building in the world. Designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, it was completed in 2019. The little guy next to it with a limestone facade is 220 Central Park South, 953 feet tall, designed by Robert A.M. Stern, also residential and 2019. To date, sixteen buildings in Manhattan qualify as supertall at over 1,000 feet, and a number of others are almost. (San Franciscans, note that the Salesforce Tower in comparison measures a mere 1,070 feet.)
