Roulés par les vagues, polis par le vent.

Chaque grain arraché raconte l'usure,

Lent travail des marées, implacable sculpture.

Ils gisent là, témoins muets d'une lutte,

Entre la mer qui façonne et le roc qui s'abîme.

Le temps ne s'arrête, il efface, il sculpte,

Jusqu'à ce que tout retourne à l'abîme.

Sous les doigts, leur douceur trahit leur combat,

Vestiges fragiles d’un passé qu’on ne voit pas.

Les galets murmurent, dans leur silence usé,

Que le temps, toujours, finira par gagner.

Le rendu n'est pas super car dû aux paillettes des pigments ainsi qu'à la brillance de la résine

ça creuse son terrier, ça s'invective, ça va, ça vient, ça papote pour notre plus grand plaisir !

Dragonfly

Compact and bijoux is how an estate agent might describe this quirky building in Wanlockhead, the highest village in Scotland. Most of the houses in the village are old miners' cottages from the time the lead mines were prospering. However, this is comparatively new, being built in 1989. I have absolutely no idea what it is used for, being no bigger than a decent sized garden shed. It is rather grandly called "The Manor".

PS. The exif info is wrong. The lens used was the Zeiss 25mm f2.8.
