During a nice walk in Belfast, after work

'57 Chevy. I normally like'em better restored to original, without tricks; but this car is still a real beauty!! Main Street, Grapevine, TX

Yes, there is a '55 behind this one, but, though I like the body style offthe '55 better, I didn't like the finish of the '55... the '57 Belaire was far superior to the '55. (IMHO)

Just caught sight of this Grey Heron leaving the water with his catch. I followed him to a near by tree to capture this image.

Lucky for me i had my Nikkor 200-500mm with me rather than my usual Nikkor 300mm. The 300mm would have been to short for this shot.

We'r the kayakers in scotland and then .

This is Najah Hetsberger rockin' the role of "The Witch" in Big Fish as presented by our local high school.

It was another tremendous show filled with talent, brilliantly staged and wonderfully accompanied by the pit orchestra.

Can you tell I'm a proud theater parent?

Find the biggest pond you can, and don't worry about your relative size. You'll benefit much more and learn much faster.

She's my chief button dealer.. And I have a major addiction!

her chicks were so red. i wanted to call a fireman.

did she look more like a tomato or like a red lizard. i couldt decide.

I met another photographer on the way in to the nature center where this was taken, who told me he'd been trying for an hour to take shots of a heron, and all he was doing was preening. So he got bored, and decided to pack it up for the day. When I got near the water, I saw this heron playing with a fish. I got several shots. And even though I was far away, and don't have anything above 300mm, still got enough detail so you know what's in his mouth!

I couldn't help thinking that I got this guy's shot! Patience is everything. If he would have stayed 5 more minutes...
