UPDATE

I hadn't removed the camera before going into school today. So, when I got there, I removed the LCD from the mount, then placed it into my helmet. When I returned, I had my hands full, so I hung the helmet on the handlebars, and proceeded to unlock the bike. The bike shifted from the load on the handlebar, and the helmet fell off, the LCD, my NiteRider MiNewt X2, the MiNewt 600 Cordless, and my GoPro all hit the ground from less than 3' *... Only the Owl broke. I had a crack that pushed into the LCD's space, causing a distorted image. Once the plastic popped into place again, the image returned to normal. I've dropped less expensive electronics from greater heights (including the lights) and never had them crack like this. The edge of the case also was abraded from the concrete, more than I'd have expected. Whatever water resistance there was, I'm certain it's compromised now. Folks, this thing needs to go back to the drawing board before it's ready for the market.

*Originally, I thought it was about 3'6" (42"), but upon actually measuring my handlebars, and the helmet hanging beneath it, I found that it was closer to 31-33 inches, not 42 inches.

The FRAGILE glossy plastic was more effective as a mirror of the sky, than a screen allowing you to see what the camera could. One small fall later, and it had a nasty crack.

Due to it's extremely limited handlebar mount, this was the only place and angle I could mount the camera. Don't think that it was all the other equipment that prevented me from picking a better spot.

The only handlebar mount for the camera's LCD was incapable of fitting over my handlebar at the stem.

Due to the glare issues, the best images you get are from inside of buildings and vehicles, not on the open road.

Believe it or not, that really is what you see when it was on... reflections of things above you.
