Chi sa. La gioia è forse potere sempre partire…
Ma io sono quella
che va via, sempre.
La prima volta fu la più,
fu la più silenziosa…
Talvolta mi chiedono se
sto cercando un posto
in cui l’anima smetterà
di vagare
un posto in cui fermarmi
senza più il desiderio di partire.
Chi sa.
La gioia è forse
potere sempre partire…

I'm sorry, I did not find poetry in English.
And given that the author is an Indian poet who translates herself in English, I do not in the least chance ....
Thanks for your recent visits, favorites, comments and invitations. I go slow, but everything is very much appreciated, as always....

Kathak dance by Tushar-Pooja Bhatt on World Dance Day 2016 at Alliance Francaise, Bengaluru.
Kathak is one of the eight forms of Indian classical dances. This dance form traces its origins to the nomadic bards of ancient northern India, known as Kathakars (storytellers). Its form today contains traces of temple and ritual dances, and the influence of the bhakti movement.
There are two major schools (gharanas) of Kathak from which performers today generally draw their lineage: the gharanas of Jaipur and Lucknow, and a less prominent Raigarh gharana.

I don't know why but this image makes me think of Gone with the Wind. It's weird because I have not even seen the movie! I think the tonality has a feel of the Southern States.
Je ne sais pas pourquoi mais cette scène me fait penser à Autant en emporte le vent. C'est bizarre car je n'ai même pas vu le film! Je crois que c'est parce que la tonalité me rappelle des images du Sud des États-Unis.
