This lady decided to show off a little in the paddock, so go grab the camera was only the least I could do. Had a great time with her, and she obviously had lots of fun!

Bessie who is a frequent visitor to my garden often sits on a spare chair at the Patio Table.
Blackbirds are one of the commonest UK birds, its mellow song is also a favourite.
The males live up to their name but, confusingly, females are brown often with spots and streaks on their breasts. The bright orange-yellow beak and eye-ring make adult male blackbirds one of the most striking garden birds.
They are found all year round everywhere in gardens and the countryside and from coasts to hills, although not on the highest peaks.

In honor of Black History Month, I'm honoring Bessie Coleman.
Bessie Coleman was an early American civil aviator. She was the first African-American woman and first Native American to hold a pilot license. She earned her license from the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale on June 15, 1921, and was the first Black person to earn an international pilot's license.
We Salute You Bessie!

Cassie & Bessie the springer spaniels from a shoot I did for a Client on Friday. One of the hardest shoots i've had.
Now I know why they call them 'springers' ;-)
As a Labour party politician Braddock inherited much of her campaigning spirit from her mother, Mary Bamber, an early socialist and trade union activist. She was especially appreciated in Liverpool, where much of her campaigning zeal for better housing and healthcare was concentrated. Widely known and remembered as "Battling Bessie", thirty years after her death she was placed eighth in a BBC poll of "great Merseysiders". Bessie was also responsible for the Lion Mark printed on every egg in Britain to vouch for its freshness.

This is Cheryl's beautiful greyhound Bessie. By the time we started photographing her we had almost lost our sun so I will have her model for me again and get some better running shots of her than I did, 'cause that's what greyhounds do best!! ;o)
Here it is at last.
This is the iconic yellow car the Third Doctor used as transport during his exile on Earth, and occasionally after that.
A lovely, late autumn day for a hike along the Frisco Highline Trail, an old railroad bed converted to a nature trail through the Ozarks hill country. . . here a cow and bull in a pasture a few miles from our home. . .
I recently made a Facebook Page and I will forever be thankful if you give it a like.

46233 'Duchess of Sutherland' rounds the curve at Bessie Ghyll wood, Thrimby, heading the 1Z56 15:52 Carlisle to Crewe 'Cumbrian Mountain Express' on Saturday 5th August 2017. A hot box was detected on the locomotive at Hest Bank; a check had to be made at Lancaster with the consequence of missed paths and further delays on its return to Crewe, where it arrived just over 30 minutes late.
