I know, I know Bernie is popping up everywhere these days. However, I never expected him to visit the old decrepit Canada Malt building in Montreal. Especially in his elegant 2021 Inauguration garb. Love the mitts Bernie !

Wearing mittens made out of recycled materials and a warm winter jacket, U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders pulled off a casual inauguration outfit — and vibe — that only he could.
Many people quickly highlighted the 79-year-old independent Vermont senator's look, and created endless memes, from Wednesday's inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, which he said was more about keeping warm than fashion.
The image of Sanders sitting alone in his chair waiting for the inauguration to begin took on a life of its own as people dropped him into some unlikely scenarios. Twitter hero Nick Sawhney made it even easier and created a site to superimpose a cold Bernie Sanders wherever you want.
Sawhney's site uses Google Maps Street View to place an image of Sanders sitting in his chair for the inauguration and wearing his mittens, allowing people to bring the meme to a location of their choosing.

Sanders’ mittens were made by a Vermont elementary school teacher who has a side business making mittens out of recycled wool.
Had a most interesting conversation with the man this morning in which he revealed himself to have been a supporter of Ron Paul, but redeemed himself, in my eyes, with his current support for Bernie Sanders and his declaration of all life being sacred. The man is writing a novel, has run for some public office in the past, calls himself a drifter and loves to sleep under the stars.
Currently popular on the internet now, memes of American politician Bernie Sanders in various locations looking very cosily dressed at Joe Biden's inauguration! I suffer from cold hands in winter - if only I could get a pair of mittens like this trendsetter!!
