Hope you're all having a fantastic day! Here's an image capturing a time when we could enjoy clear skies untainted by the presence of wildfire smoke. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it?
It was quite cloudy at sunset and the glow only lasted a few minutes. Photo was taken at a cove in the famous Horseshoe Bay beach in Bermuda.
I don't normally like frames but this one I think really enhanced this photo. Interested in your opinions. Thanks!
In Bermuda, there are chickens everywhere.
This particular chicken just decided to cross the road.
I asked her "Why do you want to cross the road?" She thought about it for a few seconds and replied, "Because I can."
There's your answer!

The loquat tree sets its buds over the summer, and comes to bloom in late fall, early winter. Here the bee and the fly are attracted by the fragrance of the honey like nectar. It is the flavor of Bermuda Gold liquer, exclusive to Bermuda.
The Unfinished Church is located in St. George's Town, Bermuda.
Construction began in 1874, when St Peter's Church was badly damaged by a storm and was thought to be beyond repair.
The church was to be its replacement.
The local population, however, felt the money should be spent to repair the older, damaged church. Because of opposition and funding problems, construction of the church ceased in 1897.
Today, the picturesque ruins are a protected historic monument and part of the St. George's World Heritage Site. It is managed by the Bermuda National Trust.
It is a great place to wander around and, as you can see, is a photographer's dream.

I saw this beautiful plumeria a the Royal Naval Dockyard located at the far western end of Bermuda. Construction for the massive fortress began in 1809.
The dockyards are just a short walk from the cruise pier.
It seems that my followers like the panorama photos. I decided to give one of my best. Bermuda sunset. Stitched and processed for HDR exclusively in the new LR 6. Great tool!
In 2005, my mother and I went on a cruise to Bermuda. It was a wonderful experience! I fell in love with the place and would love to go back some day. I wasn't into photography back then, but I was looking through the pics I got with my little Fuji F10 and some of them aren't too bad. I don't think I posted this one before, but if I did, hardly anyone saw it. So here it is again! :) This has been re-processed a bit with Lightroom 4 and Nik Color Efex.
