"Who can believe that there is no soul behind those luminous eyes!" ~ Theophile Gautier
My 6 months baby at that time!
Always hiding and ready for a play!♥
He is crazy and happy today! His playmate (me) is back home. My crazy little thing called ❤️
Hugs by Beethoven and me
Beethoven is reading the musical notes and plays his song, together with his little sister on the piano.
What a pleasure to hear him play this Caturday!
He is a real virtuoso.
Love is a four-legged word.
Have a happy Weekend my dear friends.
Thank you so much for the joy you also give us, by your visits and your warm words, but most of all your friendship!

Sleepy head my boy! How can you sleep like this!
It looks like he was watching tv, but no way; I was ;-)
Have a happy and relaxt weekend my friends
Be well and stay safe.
Hugs by me ♥ and my sleeping beauty Beethoven
Beety enjoying life in the snow with his friend Babe.
Although Babe is still a bit afraid ;-)
Not composing today, just having fun sledding outside.
Happy Caterday by Beethoven, Babe and me! ♥
Beethoven loves the leaves around him.
He can hunt there and then rest for a while on a tree trunk.
And with his fine winter coat he is completely in his element, because he is a Norwegian Forest Cat ;-))

Beethovens' Babe sits as decoration in the tree.
He doesn't like that because he rather wants to play with her. ;-)
Have a happy weekend dear friends!
A few more days and than it's Christmas!
But before that, we are sending you hugs and love,
Addy and Beethoven

"Carpe Diem" does not mean 'fish of the day.'" ;-)
Beethoven went fishing and showed a lot of patience during the day, but suddenly he had a double catch. Beethoven, the composer!
Happy Sunday my friends and have a good start of your new week.

“I asked the piano teacher if I could play Mozart. She said, ‘You have to be a little more Beethoven first.'”
Little Beety is learning to read the notes on the piano. He's dressed up for it. His admirer is sitting nearby, because he wants to learn it too.

Just find one with fur and four legs."
Beety sweetie pie for you this Friday the 13th ;-)
My acrobat buddy, hanging in his castle, high and dry.

My crazy little thing called love: Beethoven
Beethoven, in front of the window, tongue out of mouth after a wash and enjoying the sun on his fur ;-)
"Soft fur, warm nuzzles, and deep purrs fill my soul with happiness."
Have a funny and happy day everyone and a good start of the weekend.

My sweetheart with that innocent look
but in his heart he feels a Lion King!
Beethoven brings so much joy in my life
Even in these dark days for me,
he is very precious, so precious!
He makes me laugh, he is a rascal
and knows just how to wrap me
around his little very strong paws.💕
Thank you all so much for Explore.
Beety is happy and me too!♥
It must have been a beauty in the first place
Right now it's more interesting ;-)

This makes my day I'm happy!
Beethoven 2 years ago.
Back then he didn't have as many complaints as he does now.
His teeth were infected and last Thursday the vet removed his tartar and removed 1 incisor tooth that was already loose.
His tear glands are also flushed because he has an inflamed eye left for a long time now. Many medications did not help and Prednison cannot be given for long.
But he is not doing well yet, has bad diarrhea and with the long hair, he has to take a shower again ;-( so sad.
He ate some wet food for the first time today.
My cheerful four-legged friend is a sad little animal at the moment.
I hope he recovers quickly. I would rather be sick myself than my pet. They can't tell you what's going on. 🙏
Ohh, thank you so much for EXPLORE! April 21, 2024 position 44 ♥ . This must be a good sign my lovely Beethoven ♥
Update 22-4-2024 , he is still not well. Sleeps a lot but has something for his diarrhea now, en medication for his sickness. He doesn't eat well.
Hope to have better news tomorrow.
Update 24-4-2024 , his diarrhea is finally gone after 6 days. But he has a lot of catching up to do so he sleeps a lot.
He eats and drinks in moderation, but there is progress.
Thank you all so much for your warm words ♥
Update: 18-5-2024 Beethoven has a bacterial infection in his left eye now and is on antibiotica.
This a religious image, but the religious part is not what inspired this pic. I was drawn by the light and the drama and local church on Manhattan,'s Upper West Side. I should add that I am not a religious person and was not raised in the Christian religion. Nonetheless, I admire the great religious edifices of the world and can be found listening to Beethoven's Missa Solemnis and Bach's b Minor Mass fairly often.
