Sorry to revive this memory, but disco is all I could think of when I first saw this image.
The bokeh is 100% real! I finally got my telephoto lens and thought it was all about wildlife. I had no idea the it would be incredible for flower photography. Something new to learn every day in the photo world.
It sparkles even more viewed in Large!

I don't quite know what i'm doing here.......I really want to document some of Aberystwyth's daily life but i don't think i'm truly part of it enough to be the person to do it. I feel like a weird outsider when I take these pictures so that can't help. I hope that some other student/resident of the town will do this better after I leave. For now until June though i'll try my best.....at least to make pictures that look quite nice. Keep your eyes peeled for some serious daring....when I have the time :)

The parish church of St Mary the Virgin dates back to the 12th Century and dominates the Thame skyline in Oxfordshire. The large graveyard is the resting place of Robin Gibb, the Bee Gees singer/songwriter, who died in 2012.
Does your loved one suffer from Disco Fever?
Symptoms: having no time to talk, bruises from being kicked around since birth, getting low, getting high, uncontrollable dancing (sometimes in nothing but underwear, apparently), city breaking, shaking

During a rare dump of snow, I get the bright idea to hike up Nile Creek in sub-zero temperatures. Dangleberry shrinkage ensues followed by an exquisite falsetto voice that would make the Beegees jealous.
Will I create a beautiful shot of the ice-rimmed river or will I succumb to the ravages of hypothermia? Yorkshire pudding blubber only provides so much protection from the elements, but I embrace the challenges of freezing cold winter photography like the legend that I am.
Will I sacrifice yet another DJI Osmo Pocket to the water gods? Will I survive impalement from rusty rebar spikes and will I reach hypothermia stage 5?
