Triberg Waterfalls, Black Forest, Germany.

With a descent of 163 m, it is one of the highest waterfalls in Germany and a landmark in the Black Forest region.

Swallowtail on columbine in my garden - unfortunately not yet this year. Due to the long cold and rainy weather I haven't seen many swallowtails yet - hope they will come.
Schwalbenschwanz auf Akelei in meinem Garten - leider noch nicht dieses Jahr. Durch das lange kalte und regnerische Wetter habe ich noch nicht viele Schalbenschwänze gesehen - ich hoffe, dass sie noch kommen werden.

Being away from city lights and closer to nature enables us to witness simple fascinations. The birds in the yard and trees and the squirrels scurrying around for their food supplies is what I watch instead of morning T.V. A wonderful sunrise or sunset here gives us the warmth of knowing there’s a “Power” here much greater than our own at work here. That power gives us the creek out back giving life to the fish the frogs and whatever they require to live on. The deer here are plentiful and watching them scurry around the property leaves us again feeling a part of Nature not separate from it. Truly, we feel that “Beauty Surrounds Us.” The pandemic forces us to be at home more than ever. We are fortunate to be in such a beautiful and peaceful area and for that we are very grateful. Thanks for viewing my work. Stay safe and continue to wear your mask. The life you save may just be your own.

I think so. This is a member of a free-ranging herd of several hundred Bison on Antelope Island in the Great Salt Lake that share grazing there with mule deer, pronghorn antelope and bighorn sheep. Twelve American bison were introduced on the island in the late 19th century, when the species was nearly extinct. They flourished in the near ideal habitat of dry grass prairie, devoid of apex predators (excepting man) and were maintained and hunted by private ranchers. In 1981 the State of Utah completed purchase of the island to create a state park. It is one of the few publicly managed herds of American bison, and one of the largest.
Just back from a 3 week road trip from Colorado to Maine. Drove through 17 states with our camper in tow. Had a great time but didn't get to see half of what we had planned LOL. Lots of room for another trip in the future.
My first attempt with the Lee 10-stop filter. This was taken at 1pm on mostly sunny day. Fun to play around with.
