As the sun's gentle rays kissed the horizon, I stood in awe of the majestic seastacks adorning Secret Beach in the Samuel H Boardman Corridor, Oregon. These ancient geological formations stood tall and resilient, basking in the ethereal glow of the morning light. The benefit of an ultra-low tide allowed me to get up close and personal with nature's splendor.

This mesmerizing display of power and beauty is a true testament to the untamed allure of the Oregon Coast.
By a statue of a Roman God/Warrior @town of Ao Nang, Krabi, Thailand. I have no idea what is the significant of this statue in that little seaside town. I was curious and walked around it trying to find a description, but there is no explanation inscribed on the pedestal. Nothing, except for those golden texts you see in my pic which said: "I was there! At Walking Street Ao Nang Krabi" Somehow, the statue looks like some sort of Roman or Greek God... Mars or Apollo? Am not too sure.

Today is my birthday and I decided to upload this photograph from our trip to the beach this past May because that's where I'd like to be on my b-day! This time of year is not when we'd typically plan a beach vacation but maybe one day we can make it happen...until then, enjoy the view!
Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D7200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.

I love waking up early to watch the sun come up. The beach is void of almost any people, there's the only rush of the ocean, and the sound of the birds. The light is warm and enveloping. It is a most peaceful and relaxing time of day.
