The sand patterns made me think of zebras and tigers and I had to call the photo something :)
Some photos come easier than others but this location made me work quite hard. Couldn't get anything to line up with the nice sunset happening stage right, so kind of resorted to this. It won't win any awards but I did quite like the converging patterns in land, sea and sky.

Als Hauptattraktion kann die Kanareninsel Fuerteventura eindeutig auf ihre Strände zählen. Endlose goldgelbe Sandstrände, weite Naturstrände, oder meterhohe Sanddünen
Embedded within the Beach of Koutsoupri (Pefki, Evia, Greece), there is a small chapel Agios Nikolas with a small door. That way you have to bend to get into the chapel.
The photo is from our last trip to Cuba. Ensenachos beach is one of the best Cuban beaches and famous for its white sand through the perfect bottom of the sea. The photo taken day before hurricane Sandy hit the island. This was quiet unfortunate for our trip as the four days in the row we had the rain and these beautiful beaches were closed :(
The object you see in the foreground is the remains of the SS Atlantis, one of 12 concrete ships built just after World War I. In 1926 the Atlantis broke free of her moorings during a storm and ran aground at Sunset Beach in Cape May, NJ. It has been here ever since, slowly decaying over the years and creating the iconic profile of Sunset Beach.
15 second exposure using reverse grad and ND filters.
Makara Beach : a stony beach for walking, fishing, diving and excersising your dog!
We took some sunset photos from here!
We will certainly come back here when we have more time so we can follow the 6km Makara Walkway (managed by the Department of Conservation) that starts at the beach and follows the coast before a gradual climb to the cliff tops, where there are spectacular views (which we did not know beforehand and which one of the residents who we met there on the beach told us! ) of Mana, Kapiti and the South Island.
I can just imagine what a beautiful view one will have up there where the sun is peeking at you now!
