It's a beautiful summer day, I'm walking with a backpack on my back, there are snacks and my camera, along a green lush valley. I gradually climb up the slope along the path and I can see both the peaks of the mountains and the amazingly beautiful whole formed by the green valley. I sit on the mountainside and breathe deeply and feel a sense of both peace and happiness filling my heart and mind💙

There was a time when I thought I had to find my place in someone else's world.
I met people, heard beautiful words, and sometimes believed I had found something truly special.
But not every promise lasts.
And not everyone who walks beside you for a while truly wants to stay.
Somewhere along the way, I began to understand something.
Maybe I don't have to belong everywhere.
Maybe I don't have to change who I am just so others can understand me.
Maybe it's okay to feel differently, experience things in my own way, and find meaning in things that not everyone will understand.
So I stopped looking for a place to belong.
And started creating one of my own.
Filled with all the little things that matter to me.
My dreams, my stories, and my own idea of what makes a world worth living in.

Eventually, you meet people who don't try to change your world.

also, this photo is kinda ironic, i go to a pretty small college, and so everytime i go out to take a picture people look at me like im nuts, especially lately because its been like -20 outside, and i just want people to know that it doesnt matter how people look at me or what they think about me, that i will do anything to get the photo i want no matter what.

It took me forever to edit this. I don't mean like a million hours, I mean a million tries.
I kept messing up on the layering and it was so frustrating.
But ta-da! I did it, hahah. :)
This kind of goes along with the whole "eyes can be your enemies" and "be yourself" theme I got going on in my stream lately.
When I thought of this photo in my head, I wanted the sun to be setting and to have really pretty light, but it was cloudy the day of the shoot. I actually think that the tones work better for the mood of this. (:
I'm really tired of people blogging my photos. Granted, they almost always give me credit. But it just annoys me that nobody asks. I appreciate that people like my photos enough to blog, but at the same time, it still gets under my skin. I don't know. I don't think I'll ever get used to it.
I cannot help but admire you, making the air around you glow when you walk near me making my world a better place to be with you. I love you my Viktor.

My anxiety has been really bad lately, so much I've been avoiding sl among other things, rl things. It's odd to me that, second life can also bring anxiety along with it. I usually am able to mask pretty well but I wanted to post this because it really captures how I'm feeling. I will add credits later. I do miss my friends and will be back soon, maybe tonight, I'm not sure. I think it's important no matter what to just take care of yourself and realize that, even this second world can have it's complex moments.

Whether in Real Life or Second Life, whenever I see water, I just have to jump in!
Actually, all I wanted today was to cool off a little, enjoy the sunshine, and do absolutely nothing.
Well ... that was the plan. 😇
But the moment I stepped into the water, there it was again. That little mischievous grin that used to mean someone was about to get soaked. 😄
Remember those days?
As kids, we didn't need much to be happy. A little water, some sunshine, and preferably someone silly enough to get within splashing distance. 😂
Now we're grown-ups.
We have schedules, responsibilities, and of course, we always behave like perfectly sensible adults.
Well ... most of the time.
But sometimes I wonder when we started overthinking everything instead of simply enjoying the moment.
When did we forget how much fun it is to be a little silly?
Maybe we don't always need to search for those big moments of happiness.
Maybe sometimes all it takes is a little water, a smile, and that inner child who's still waiting for a chance to come out and play. ❤️
And today, I've decided to listen to that little kid inside me!

Golden light spills across the Aveiro lagoon as the sun sinks low over the Atlantic. The calm waters reflect hues of pink and amber, while herons, flamingos, and egrets drift gracefully across the shallows.
