i was standing on a rock, wanting to capture the motion of the ocean and was very focused on getting my shot just right, when the second i took it i got completely soaked! such an exhilarating feeling and even more rewarding when i saw this result.

As we celebrate Easter this weekend, it will have to done a little differently this year. Staying Home and Staying Safe is crucial for us all, but it doesn't mean we can't celebrate.
While there is no Easter Egg hunt in our backyard, this little squirrel is still finding hidden treats scattered about.
If she only knew what I've done to her picture. Perhaps it's a bit busy, but when you can't get out you have to find your fun where you can. Hopefully she'll forgive me.

Creative vision is subjective and execution of such visions can stretch your known abilities beyond limits you are familiar with. As a general rule I attempt to eliminate bright areas when doing icm’s to keep visual motion uniform. This particular morning the mist was fading fast and I was in an area with more open space than was ideal. So I took a chance and started shooting. Looking at the raw images on screen I came close to trashing the entire sequence then I decided to try a pano merge and this is where I decided that lots of light can work in intentional camera movement. Thanks Scott Kelby!
