This is a shot from the well-known Allianz Arena in Munich.
The shot itself is a multi-exposure composition of 7 pictures taken within a time frame of 2 hours. The first shot was taken late afternoon to capture day-light elements and the last shot (2 minutes exposure) was taken when it was already dark. Finally I combined and mixed elements of the 7 shots to create this particular view of the Allianz Arena, that doesn't exist like this in reality.
Hope you enjoy this experiment. It takes quite some time to create such a picture but this technique offers a lot of creative potential for future projects.

Munich Olympic Stadium, Munich, Germany
One from my visit to Munich last year and the 1972 Olympic Stadium. I have so many photos to go through and edit at the moment but I suppose thats a good thing isn't it?
I really enjoyed my tour of this place, very insightful to learn of its history and home to two of Munich's footballs club until their move in 2005 to the new Arena on the other side of the city.
I have seen many of photo of these seats from the stadium and I too wanted to get my own interpretation of these famous green multicoloured seats. Surprisingly I found it quite difficult, I could have done with a telephoto lens which sadly I didn't have with me but did keep on trying until I got this and was happy with.
I have my visit to London this week where I am visiting the Ghost Station at Charing X, I can't wait and really looking to getting some photos from this rarely seen part of the station. Also got a list of new places I haven't visited before so really looking forward to some new stuff! I just hope there are enough hours in the day ;-).

So I was standing in front of this great stadium trying to take a decent shot. It was the coldest day of the year with -10C - for our friends from Siberia this might sound more like summer temperature, but I thought it was nevertheless uncomfortable. The Allianz Arena has been photographed billions of times, but if you live in Munich it is mandatory to have a shot of this great architecture in your set. I hope that you find this version nevertheless ok.

I’ve posted a lot of Black and white stuff to Flickr in the last 6 months so I was going to go for a bit of a rarity for me – two colour uploads in a row…..and then I thought better of it! I’ve posted a shot from here before but I just flat out loved this location so here’s another. Thanks for all the recent faves and comments, it’s all been very flattering and very much appreciated that people have shown such an interest in my photos. The down side is that it’s been impossible for me to catch up on everyone’s work. Will do my best in the coming days……
So have gone back to Munich here, I just loved the Allianz Arena, and was lucky to visit on a lovely evening. Not many people around either so the area took on a space ship type feel. This could be the set of a science fiction movie (in my opinion!) It's just a stunning bit of architecture!

The Allianz Arena in Munich is the home stadium of the FC Bayern Munich. The only really international successful soccer club in Germany. The stadium looks on a day a bit like a big glanced donuts, but in the night it becomes funky. Then the complete stadium is glowing in blue, white and red. Awesome experience, when you stand in front of it.
You see the glowing below.
