Looking Back through 2016, I found this Flower. Helps Brighten a Cloudy Day.

My entry for Crazy Tuesday theme = Shallow DOF

Playing with DOF, angle and perpective to get this visual effect of crooked basket !

No editing or processing.

For Macro Mondays - Zigzag

--------------------------------------------

I spotted this tiny basket ornament with a zigzag pattern at a World Market store. The entire ornament measures 2.5 inches by 2 inches. HMM, everyone.

Greens in the grass and in the baskets, and the hedge behind them.

The flower baskets that hang all along the Rose District in Broken Arrow, which is Main Street. Still going for early Fall color.

For Crazy Tuesday#Vintage

We have not used these fruit harvesting baskets for a long time, these have been replaced by light wooden or plastic crates so that they are now used only for decoration and are reminiscent of another forgotten time.

I chose to process the photo in sepia tone because it seems more vintage and nostalgic to me.

HaPpY CrAzY Tuesday 😄

I hope everyone has a great week ahead.

A friend of mine asked me to post a photo of one of our pets so... Here's one of my favorite relatively recent ones :) She's actually in a little basket that she loves to sleep in. Once winter hits and I'm stuck inside, maybe I'll get some newer ones...

The other day got a nice box of oranges from a friend in FL to cheer us up. So I "stacked" them in a basket.

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. Enjoy!

Our flower baskets seem to be doing very well at the moment. It's a windy day so the wind chime Matt gave us is swaying a lot!

A copy of Van Gogh's painting, done on Procreate app with iPad and Apple Pencil. Wonderful to be able to undo mistakes!

My second exercise to learn digital painting. I used 4 layers - oranges, basket, table & wall, signature.

I resorted to still life after failing miserably with a portrait of my husband - will try portraits later after I master objects!

I was inspired by his style after going to Van Gogh Alive a few weeks go, where I watched paintings and snippets of his letters projected vertically on huge 2-storey high screens on walls as well as horizontally the floor, while listening to classical music.

Some fresh fruit anyone?

For Saturday Self-Challenge - baskets.

To dream anything that you want to dream. That's the beauty of the human mind. To do anything that you want to do. That is the strength of the human will. To trust yourself to test your limits. That is the courage to succeed. Bernard Edmonds

Rope finishing around the edge of an oak slat basket for the Smile of Saturday group challenge: creative with rope. Happy Saturday!

I love freshly washed towels and linens. Since our older home lacks built-in storage space, we have to use baskets for storing various items. I like how pretty the baskets can be, and at the same time, they serve a purpose.
