Super basic. Sorry. I'm still really sick and I'm trying to fight it before tomorrow.
I start my EMT program tomorrow and I was packing up for it today. I'm really excited, I'm one step closer to following my dream.
I have to start getting up at 5:30 AM every morning, that should be interesting. Ha

Not a bad day if a little dull & breezy. Lots of dampness though in the pond, hopefully the waders were watertight and you have washed all that mud off all your kit etc. Just for the absentees there were two basic jobs, removing vegetation from the pond and cutting down a nearby scrubby bramble patch. Luckily Jamie remembered the donuts and that lovely lady Mrs Christopher baked another very tasty ginger cake that supported the mud larkers and old scrubbers through to the early end of play.
We enjoyed the company of a large flock of woolly jumpers and later Claire Wardle from CBC.
Not much wildlife seen though the pond team reported great diving beetle larvae and ramshorn snails. I found a few newts, some lichen and a rather nice fungi.

Hi everyone,
Sorry for the late mail. CBC has been waiting for Natural England to approve the works as Maulden Church Meadows is a SSSI site. We now have an approved plan.
On Tuesday we will be clearing Yellow-Flag Iris from a quarter of the pond and hand clearing a patch of bramble from the grassland. There may not be enough for a full day, but that is all the works that have been approved. I will be checking out the site tomorrow to see how much is there.
I’ll bring waders, chromes, loppers, etc. Please bring wellies, and your own waders if you have them.

Occupy Wall Street has begun a regular Friday training for activists planning to join the May Day actions. After some basic instruction from the veterans about how to form a human wall and occupy an intersection the newbies learn by doing in marches through the back streets of New York's Financial District. They do everything from calesthenics in intersections to practice die-ins. These were shot on March 16, the day before the Zuccotti Park bust, at the intersection of Broad and Wall Street.

La Presentación ante el Consejo Académico realizada por el Prof. Carlos Moreno el día 14 de setiembre, no sólo dejó claro que las postulaciones de estudiantes a la carrera están lejos de justificar una decisión extrema, especialmente en una año difícil para toda las universidades públicas chilenas, y que la empleabilidad de los egresados es - desde todo punto de vista- cercana a un optimo.
Además, sirvió para mostrar el proyecto educativo que sostiene 16 años de trabajo, un quehacer de excelencia donde la investigación y la vinculación con el medio actúan como ejes de mejoramiento continuo y retroalimentación con la docencia, como corresponde a una universidad estatal que debe hacer un trabajo con altos estándares de calidad en la formación que entrega. Pese a cumplir más de tres décadas como una de las universidades públicas con menor financiamiento fiscal de todas las casas de estudio que integran el Consejo de Rectores de universidades tradicionales de Chile (CRUCH).
Our daughter has spent more hours playing with this basic "no frills" toy then she has the more expensive "popular" toys. It seems the more basic the toy the more fun our kids have with it.

Centenas de gestores municipais da saúde estiveram presentes no segundo dia (26/3) do 1º Seminário Estadual de Atenção Básica do Rio Grande do Sul. O evento contou com a participação do coordenador Nacional do Programa Mais Médicos do Ministério da Saúde, Felipe Proenço Oliveira, do coordenador do TelessaúdeRS, o médico de família Erno Herzeim, e o especialista em educação permanente, Ricardo Ceccim. Nos debates, a mesa 4, sobre o “Programa Mais Médicos e outras estratégias de Gestão do Trabalho para Atenção Básica”. As 11h, foi a vez da mesa 5 discutir sobre “Processos Pedagógicos na Atenção Básica: Educação Permanente, Educação Popular e Telessaúde”. Às 14h, na volta do intervalo, houve a discussão e aprovação do Pacto pela Atenção Básica no RS.
