“Banner Art” Sculpture at Sunset – Imperial Beach
It was tough to select the picture I wanted to post from today's shoot that highlights the creativity in the sculpture and the beauty of sunset.
“Banner Art” is a unique sculpture. From the right vantage point, viewers of this public sculpture see the word “ART” spelled out atop three 25-foot poles overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
My vantage point for this shot allows you to see the shape of the “A”, “R”, and some of the “T”. I promise to shoot this from the vantage point where you don't have to strain to see the letters in the sculpture but I just had to share the sunset too.

This sculpture seems pretty new to me - but it's been a while since I've been to IB. Amber says if you see it from the right angle, it spells out "art." Cool! I had no idea. I'll have to go back and see if I can spot that.
