Tour poster for a Boise band.

11" x 17"

Yes I know, highly inspired by the master of awesome H.R. Giger!

Giger has always been a huge inspiration for me, ever since childhood. I had posters of his work in my room instead of bandposter and such ;-) I would so like to visit his museum in Switzerland one day and be able to touch his work and sit in his bar

This is a woodblock printed poster we made for The Decemberists' Omaha show. It is an original design ~ hand-drawn, hand-carved, and hand-printed by the two of us at Tugboat Printshop!

Hand-embroidered Flight of the Conchords image on white fabric with scratchy pattern. 12" blue hoop. Based on this image, which is a poster that Jemaine draws for the band (thus, Bret is just a small footnote in the image).

This poster drew my attention because it's the movie poster for the 1962 sci fi movie, The Brain That Wouldn't Die

The film focuses upon a mad doctor who develops a means of keeping human body parts alive. He keeps his fiancée's severed head alive for days, along with a lumbering, malformed brute (one of his earlier failed experiments) imprisoned in a closet.

Now getting to the music, Blanco Sauve is a Midwest hip-hop/neo-soul for the future. With female-fronted raps, and delicious beats, their music is uniquely memorable, catchy, and accessible.

The brainchild of musicians Gretchen McKenzie-Trost (vox) and Luke Arquette (prod/dj), Blanco Suave has released one self-titled EP, with an upcoming album to be released in the summer of 2020.

The band performs as a duo and with a full live band.

Fake Baseball is an eclectic art-pop band based in Kalamazoo, MI. Fake Baseball bends pop music on its ear, and builds engaging soundscapes, with consideration toward making those booties drop. Come be bathed in the sweet and uneasy melancholy of a glitchy, introspective dream-zone, or wiggle your hips to an intricate groove with dazzling keys and horns that are best described as “stanky".

Man, who doesn't like them some 7 Seconds?

Unreleased poster for a live rock gig in Monastiraki (Athens, Greece)

The lady-face on the graphics was inspired from the singer of Blondie--g--d & The Pilots, Ms Xanthi GD. It is hand-drawn and the brown layer at the back of it, is tempera.

I made it listening to The Seeds, The Rolling Stones, Love, Kaleidoscope, Jimi Hendrix, The Raveonettes and The Slits. I think it shows... crystal clear! As usual, I enjoyed working on a collage but I was also inspired by the 70s era, by cut & paste and of course by one of my very favorite graphic designers, Mark Weaver.

Total Gilman grindcore early power violence show. One's ears musta been ready for a lot of heavy fast sludge. Great bands and people on this bill.

Poster of The Sisters Of Mercy up and framed.

One of the few, rare cases of punk poster art before Koop, Hess and the gang made them all the rage in 90's. Not sure how many of these full-color editions even were really printed.

A great, mixed show at CB's. The Black Flag photo and collage style in the flyer is great.

Working on a color woodblock show poster for The Decemberists band ~ due out mid-April!

Will be 3 color blocks total, this is the key. We've just finished our pencil sketch on the block (in reverse) here.

Great flyer, it just works. I like the __ vs ___ theme.

October 2014 test roll of Superia 400. Shot with a Tamron 19-35 f/3.5-4.5. For some people, they have "favorite" products. Items that just speak to them in some way. Typically in form, feel, fit or function. For me, one of my all-time "favorite" things, and my favorite camera, is the Canon EOS 5 film camera. Just holding it in my hands makes me happy and makes the horrors of the world disappear.

A gig poster for a concert that is happening at my church.

Gig poster i did for a upcoming Soaring Eagle gig here in Melbs. They are writing a lot of material lately centering around flying chubby ninjas with their nuts out so it was like a perfect match for me.

Sick art, great graphics ... i think this was a show in Europe. i dunno.

Musta been some rad shows. Back when bands played 2 sets in a night. Wish modern bands would have guts or brains to do it.

JFA, AOD ... have to show some love to Philly for this one. Great flyer. Skate or die!

Musta been when Carl was still in Breakdown. Lotsa moshing at this gig.
