Ceremonia GDF

The first 100 days of the president of Mexico and the governor of Mexico City in their charges were celebrated with activities in the "Zocalo" (principal square) and receptions separated for some meters. Furthermore, López Obrador´s sympathizers protested in front of the National Palace.

The diplomatic staff of different countries were invited to both events, but the local government got the major guests.

All the situation was Absurd!

“The imaginary is what tends to become real.”

I took this shot this past week on the beach along the Bay of Banderas in Nuevo Vallarta Mexico. It's a reflection on the wet sand of a couple walking toward me. I loved that the sky and clouds were reflected in the sand as well! There's just some gentle sliding here. I made basic tonal adjustments in Lightroom to bring up the highlights and soften the shadows. Then I flipped the image vertically so it wouldn't look like a reflection. You can see the couple's feet now on the bottom. I like the surreal mood with the couple walking in a space that seems to be Earth, water and sky at once!
