The brothers Professor Doctor Hakus (just back from a mission to Mars) and Bernus have to lose weight. That means less food and more exercise.
They walk a lot and are taking ballet lessons with Nadu.
The first lesson:
NADU:
We will first do push ups gentlemen to make the muscles flexible.
10x up and down.
Then we will start with the 1st ballet class.
HAKUS:
Pfffff.....This is very hard to do
BERNUS:
I don't find it hard to do at all...I like it
Peter's friend Scout from Australia www.flickr.com/photos/40262251@N03/) is a very good ballet dancer. Peter wants to become as good at ballet dancing as Scout and has now taken ballet lessons at Nadu's ballet school.
NADU:
Yes...you can do it Scout...just a little bit higher that leg.
PETER:
It doesn't work...I'm going to fall over...and I get a cramp in my leg.
NADU:
You are almost there!!!!

"Ballet Lines"
The Todd Bolender Center for Dance and Creativity, named after the late Todd Bolender, is located in what used to be the Union Station Power House in Kansas City, Missouri. It opened on August 26, 2011. Following extensive renovations on the historic building, it became home for the Kansas City Ballet.

Still on the shopping expedition in Melbourne Southbank, the sculptures seemed to be repeated in the dance of the building cranes.

It's Saturday morning...that means it's ballet time for Jessie. And taking pictures time for daddy. :) I got a lot of good shots this time which I will be posting today as time permits.
I shot a similar shot last week. Normally I don't like to shoot the same shot over again, but Jane pointed out to me that the picture would have looked so much better without the tap shoes. At first I blew her off...but after looking at the picture some more, I agreed. So here's a new version with just the ballet shoes. I opted to leave this one in color since i like the soft colors and the striped tights.
