These bags stay on the backseat of my Jeep. I have been using my own bags for at least 20 years.

The estimated time for a plastic bag to break up in the sea is hundreds of years. Some studies suggest it may never fully degrade, instead breaking down into smaller and smaller bioplastics that persist indefinitely, presenting a significant threat to marine life and ecosystems.

I make sure that I bring all my own bags with me when I grocery shop. It is the sustainable thing to do.

Outside a shop in Chefchaouen, Morocco, coloured powders for painting. Probably only the blue will get sold in this town.

ODC - High Energy, well these three are full of it. Roni (in the middle) the oldest at nearly three and a half, and the twins, Norah and Ben (right and left), two next week. It took bags of Jelly Tots to bribe them to sit still long enough for a photo together.
