I did a grocery shopping this morning and picked up a couple of bags of Salt Free Kettle Chips, my favourite. I paired them with some Tzatziki Dip. This dip has its origins in the Ottoman Empire. It was yummy!
On August 12, 2015 the Persoid Meteor shower was at its peak in 8 years. I managed to capture this exciting image of a shooting star going towards the Milky Way at Price Lake. The light painting was done with an incandescent mag light.

Yesterday was a good day. and my guess is that it's not only because of the awesome weather situation, but mostly because of the camera. True, it was raining, and there were wet patches of reflection here and there that were worth catching. also, the light was here, despite the fact it's getting dark early. But mostly, i was in the right place with the Ricoh. people, silhouettes, umbrellas... nothing else needed. :)
This shot was processed with a mix of presets of my own. not that far away from the original.
We’re currently on holiday in Marrakech, Morocco. I’ve decided to try and make this a vintage lens holiday (it’s hard but I’ve stuck with it so far). So today I went out with my two Takumar lenses. This was taken with the Takumar 35mm F2.3. There’s very little processing here and I used the standard Fujifilm film simulation. It’s straight from the camera, into the iPad, a few tiny tweaks, and then uploaded here. I’ve not adjusted the colour and this is the colour rendering from this amazing lens.
