Coming back onto flickr after a couple of days of being absent I noticed loads of people had been hit by a new craze of being super heroes !!! Something I must admit has always been my secret fantasy - hahaha !!! If my girls were "working girls", they would be shot-calling call girls wearing Loubou's, making their own rules, not girls walking the city streets in cheap shoes..... not that there's anything wrong with that!! ;)

Saturday, Katie and I road tripped up to West Lafayette, IN, so I could visit my favorite Indian restaurant. That's a 2 hour drive, one way, after the four and a half hour drive to Bloomington the night before. Totally worth it. If you're ever in Lafayette, go to Khana Khazana and gorge yourself at their buffet.
On the way back, we decided to stop by the Exotic Feline Rescue Center and so we could look at the kitties. It's like going to the big cat section of the zoo, but way more awesome, with way more big cats, who are way more active and engaged. Plus, since almost all of the cats there are rescues from abusive/dangerous situations (seriously, don't try to keep a lion in your trailer home as a pet), and it's a non-profit, it's for a good cause.
Oh, and this woman is the head keeper, and she looks like a TOTAL BADASS ACTION HERO SUPERSTAR, and her ACTUAL JOB is TAKING CARE OF GODDAMN LIONS AND TIGERS AND COUGARS AND SHIT. Like if you saw this woman in a movie, you'd be all "Pfft. That's totally unrealistic." Katie and I both instacrushed when we saw her.
If you're ever in southern Indiana, go on the tour. Totally worth it.
